"My 2020: The day of @betzaelcorvo," Venezuela the test of fire "

Hello friends of Steemit, greetings to the friends of @anomadsoul, @blocktrades and @ ocd-witness, for organizing this new contest CONTEST! | My 2020: Just a normal day | Tons of Steem await you, this contest invites us to reveal a large part of our daily lives, many of us are inhibited from highlighting bad and uncomfortable moments, which we go through in the walk of our days, we prefer to show that we lead fun and normal lives , but in my case it is not so, as everyone knows I am from Venezuela, a country that is going through the worst crisis in its history.

How can you imagine life here? My answer is this, "Misery", day by day is defined in one thing, trying to get food, drinking water, necessities, for this you have to spend long hours in rows or human queues, to get cash in banks that are bankrupt, also to buy something to eat half and bring something to your family, this is my day in Venezuela.

I get up at 6:30 am, since I dedicate myself to the art of drawing in the evening hours until 1 am, my first activity is to say good morning to my mother and sister, we are already very few here, much From the family he has emigrated to other countries, looking for new horizons, I prepare some hot coffee, which without a doubt, with some bread, butter and some cheese, will be our breakfast.

A year ago, I was teaching children in Art Education, in a small school, but due to the lack of budget, this educational center closed its doors, I had to dedicate myself to my other profession, which is "Refrigeration" , I live in a small city and here public transport is very scarce, so my transport at the moment is my bicycle, already a bit old, but it works perfectly, it takes me and brings me without problems.

So I go out to the city, to fulfill my work as a refrigeration technician, on my way I see the bad situation we are going through, queues at the banks, queues at the food sales centers, people walking through the lack of public transport, You can see "The Ghost of Hunger" in the faces of my people, my people, a bad policy has fallen in my country, this government ended up in Venezuela, beautiful country, now in ruins.

The currency of my Country "El Bolivar" has a very low value, with a lot of bills, you can buy a small portion of bread.

By fulfilling my morning work agenda, I go to the market to buy fresh fish, vegetables and some fruits, thank God, I live in a coastal city and its main livelihood is fishing, it is the cheapest thing you can find, many items such as meat, chicken, and others, are sold at the price of dollars, bone is very expensive, only the rich, corrupt politicians and gangsters can buy it, here the monthly salary of a Venezuelan is 6 dollars, " Ha ha ha ha ha, he smiled at me not to cry, but it's true, so a positive option is to buy cheap fish.

Already at noon, I proceed to clean the fish, to cook and thus have lunch with my mother and sister, a moment of family peace, while we eat they tell me, the latest important news and comments, which have been developed in our neighborhood, who left whom? Who died? Who was robbed? Who went abroad? hahahahaha, they tell me all the new stories of our environment, this is our lunch in what we have left as a family, then a short break, sitting on my favorite sofa, watching TV, I like to watch "History channel".

Then at 2 pm, I do my favorite activity, check social networks, especially "STEEMIT", which provides me with some monetary income, very necessary for me, I have to take advantage of these hours in the afternoon, since at night it is very common , the power cuts for periods up to 3 to 4 hours.

at 4:30 pm, I move to the mall, where there is a restaurant, where I stand out as a musician from Tuesday to Saturday, I have to fix the sound and have everything ready by 6 pm, which is when they open the place we do our music, for people who come to dinner and have a nice time, the good thing about here is that on Fridays and Saturdays, you can have a few free beers, apart from your weekly salary as a musician, which are About 45 dollars, something low, but very necessary living this bad situation, behind me, there is a line of musicians waiting for my position.

When I return to my home at 10 pm, it is not strange to find the sector of my city, without electricity, so to light the oil lamps or candles, there is always some elderly neighbor, telling ghost stories, we all sat there in full darkness, until the energy always returns at about 11 pm.

When returning the electric power at 11 pm, I do one of my favorite tasks, which is the art of drawing, since I have been in "Steemit" I have been active, publishing my drawing works, for me it has become a very commitment responsible, share my knowledge and learn from other artists of our community, it has been of great positive benefit for me, here I will be until 1 am, then to Rest and dream with the little angels.

Friends it was a pleasure to share these daily experiences in my current life, not everything is bad, there are also good things, so it is worth continuing in life fighting, despite everything I try to be happy and in a large part I am , asking God to end this crisis in my country, we can see our relatives return to our lands, see our lives flourish in a dawn of peace, I say goodbye as always with this thought.

Often in the darkest skies is where we see the brightest stars.

You have created a wonderful post for the contest, @betzaelcorvo, even though it tells a sad tale. I'm glad you have your family, some work, fish and most of all STEEM to help you on your way.

Blessings to you and those close to you, and I pray for better times soon.

You are very talented. Musician, art/drawing, etc. I remember the rows and empty shops from my time in Bulgaria.
Now we face empty shops because the shop does not buy the things and try to force to by the expensive goods first.

Fish, meat, poultry is expensive I can seldom buy it but it is fine as long as the children have it once in a while. Same with fruit and vegetables.

Thought about leaving too?

I really hope this misery will end soon. What amazes me is how you scheduled your life and make the best out of it. My compliments for that.

In my plans for the future, I am not emigrating to another country, I cannot leave my mother and sister alone here, the government prevents you from leaving here, it is almost impossible to get a passport, it costs 1500 dollars, in the end you go out secretly and without documents adequate, with little money to succeed outside, many end up asking in the streets, our future is a roulette, we do not know, but we continue to fight for freedom, greetings

I believe @gertu said 100 follow for one passport but still you need three. You are right you can only leave if you have a place to go and a job would be good.
You are talented could teach again.
I really hope this stops soon or there will be nothing left. Blessings for you and your family. 💕

No se cuanto cuesta un pasaporte nuevo. Pero se que la renovación me pidieron 100 dolares americanos y, no los tengo. Somos dos. Pero igual, tengo mucho tiempo para pensar.

I don't know how much a new passport costs. But I know that the renovation asked me 100 American dollars and, I don't have them. We are two. But anyway, I have a lot of time to think.

@gertu If you want the money will come to you. It was what a Reiki master told me. Lately someone said it costs 1500 dollar! 😲

@gertu We need a new one every 10 years. You can not get the stamp. Minor's/children till the age of 17 need every 5 years. Each time the thing looks different!

@betzaelcorvo

Saludos @betzaelcorvo, me encanta tu publicación.
