Learning isn't just for Earning

"Education" is the word that's still don't have an exact definition. Our educational system is just trying to take that word far away from what it really is. I've seen a lot of people who have high ranks and several certificates for achieving different levels at this educational system who is not eligible for the word educated.

Education is something that brings light to the darkness inside us, but here the darkness is still there. The darkness of ignorance. These so-called educated people sometimes even don't even know how to behave with people.

Education is something that shapes our personality and attitude. It's all about as a person how we change.

I've recently read the book called "Educated" by Tara Westover, it's something great I have read in a while. It's an autobiography. She tells her story of spending her whole childhood in the junkyard, helping her father in welding and other tough jobs.

She spent about 16 years there without going to school or any other educational institution. For her, those days are full of deadly machines and accidents.

After all these agonies at the age of 16, she prepared for the entrance exam to attend a college. After some failure, she passes and joins the college.

More than the several qualifications she gets after joining there, she tells the story of her change. How education improved her as a person. She finally gets gut to talk to her father about the wrong beliefs he had. She achieved the power to stand against anything that's wrong.

That's what education is, it empowers in a lot of different ways. Here the schools and colleges are concentrating just the science subjects. Most of the times they fail to educate the students about morality, behaviour and personality. Even Art is ignored in most of the educational institutions.

Art is something that can bring a lot of change in a person, it needs the same importance as other science subjects. Society needs both.

It's also in the case of physical education, health is something that's also as important as any other thing. Most institutions are just trying to empower students to chase money and ignore the art.
