Nature Photography : The Murky River

There is a river that Turi often visits His name is Sawang river, which is in gunci village, Aceh Utara. I have been here several times. In my opinion, this river has lost its appeal. There is no beauty like before or only a little left.

One characteristic of this river is, filled with rocks with medium to large size. The stone is a source of income for residents. They collect stones then sell them to people who need to build buildings.

In my opinion, it is not a problem to take the stone. The problem is Mining or excavation activities upstream. This activity that changed the form of the river sawang. Clear river water, Has turned me murky fingers and unpleasant to look at.
