Rabona: New Soccer Management Game on the Hive Blockchain - How to start playing

In today's post, I will going through a new Hive game that has just entered Open Beta. The game is called Rabona. Here is the post about the game:

Rabona: What is it

It is a Soccer Management Game on the Hive Blockchain.

Did you enjoy Soccer or wanted to Manage a Soccer Team before, then maybe this is a game for you.
I don't know a lot of soccer, I have watched some games before and have a brief understanding of the rules. However, because the game is new on Hive and I like to try new things so I gave it a try.

Is the game free to play

No, you will need to pay $5 to buy a starter pack in order to play the game.

NB: As always, always do your own research before you put money in a game

I thought $5 was not a big amount so I decided to try it out. However, if it is too much then maybe read more about the game, and if it does not really interest you, then maybe check out other free to play hive games.

If you think $5 is okay, then lets go through the game.

I used a referral link and bought the starter pack, so I got 280k RBN and 25k RBN.
RBN is required in the game.

How to Log in

When you click on the link you will see this page:

Click on "GET IN THE GAME!"

Input your Hive username, and you can then proceed to log in with Keychain.

You will then get to a page:

If you want to proceed with the game, you can buy the starter pack with Hive.

Dashboard:

Once you are in the game, you will see the dashboard. I will be honest, I was a bit confused when I first started the game, and that was only a couple of hours ago... LOL. After randomly clicking for a few hours I think I have started to understand the game a bit, and hopefully this post will make it a bit easier for you to navigate the game.

Basically this is a Soccer Management Game on the Hive Blockchain. Your goal is to manage a team properly and if you are doing it correctly you make a profit in the game haha.

Basics

If you look at the top right corner you will see 11 icons:

Lets go through each briefly:

Dashboard - brings you to the Dashboard
Team - Shows you current Team (Divided between Goalkeeper, Defender, Midfield and Attacker)
Training - you choose the training for your team
Fixtures - not available yet
Stadium - where you upgrade your stadium
Sign - where you can sign up new players in game
Market - where you can offer contracts and buy players into your team in game
Financials - Shows your income, and Profit and Loss. (this page is fun lol)
Ranking - shows the rankings of all players
Wallet - shows all the transactions
Log out - you log out.

The above should give you an idea of how the game is played. It will take a bit of clicking around to get use to the game. I do not want to overwhelm you with a lot of information so I will just focus on some of the icons for today and then I will write up a more detailed post later.

1. DashBoard: lets check it out

On the Dashboard, you can see Tasks, where you can perform really simple task and get RBN easily

The ones with ticks are the ones that I have completed already.

lets go through the first task which is really easy. Rename your club

This is on the Dashboard, by default, your hive username will appear, so you just click on it and rename it.

I renamed mine from apprentice001 to Apprentice Dragons
Sounds like a Cool Soccer Club name lol... and with that you get 5000 RBN in game.

The rest of the task list is quite simple, to complete the tasks you will have to visit the following icon:

TASKS:

Rename your Club: DashBoard
Scout a Player: Team
Sign a Player: Sign
Renew a Contract: Team (I havent done this yet)
Transfer RNB to a friend: Wallet-> Click on Transfer (it can be 1 RBN or whatever)
Train your Team: Training
Selling a player on market: Team
Buy a player on the market: Market
Upgrade catering capacity to lvl 5: Stadium (I am almost there)
Upgrade stadium capacity to lvl 5: Stadium (I am almost there)
