So today I decided to participate in the Splinterlands contest again. It is the SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge. Here is the link to the post:

lol, so I wanted to make the card look strong, I really tried but it is not an OP (Over powered) card, or a card that I used that often anymore in higher league battles. I still use it occasionally where there is a mana restriction battle but that is probably it.

BARKING SPIDER Entry - Main Character - BARKING SPIDER!

I recently leveled the barking spider to level 6 so it obtained the "Blind" ability.
There was a game recently where it contributed quite a bit to the game

Blind : All enemy Melee & Ranged attacks have an increased chance of missing their target.

I dont really bring a barking spider to a high mana battle, unless there is only 4 mana left and I have exhausted other option... sorry barking spider. This game you showed that you are not weak.

My Strategy!

• Daria Max Level: increases melee attack by 1
• Flesh Golem : A very strong tank, as it heals itself every round and its attack is decent.
• Manticore: A decent low mana requirement support, able to fly and do damage
• Prismatic: As a measure to against opponents with magic power
• Wood Nymph: Almost always include her, heals the monster in the first position, and does magic damage.

Then the main character:

Barking Spider!

does decent range attack, and since it leveled up to 6, it has the blind ability!

Opponents will have a higher chance of missing when they are trapped in the web.

Did the strategy work? What will I try differently next time?

Yes, I say it worked. Barking Spider did what it should, and prevented my Flesh Golem from being taken down in the early part of the game.

If it did to cause the opponents to miss twice. My Tank would have gone down, and Manticore would have had to face the opponents Flesh Golem, and that would have been disastrous.

Luckily my Flesh Golem held on long enough for me to provide some damages to the opponent's Manticore. This allowed me to win the match in the end.

So thank you ... Barking Spider.

Do I use Barking Spider often? Why or why not?

No, sorry I dont really use Barking Spider alot, but I may change once I level the barking spider further.

I think Barking Spider is a useful range monster in low mana battles, but in high mana, I would not use the Barking Spider.

Also the market price also kind of gives an indication of what users think of the barking spider.

There are quite a lot of sales on the market. Barking Spider is one of the cheapest cards in game.
Maybe I will use this opportunity to Max my Barking Spider.
