Snack Time Alert! Deep-Fried Tofu Stuffed With Vegetables
Tofu is very delicious when combined with other food ingredients. Tofu that is soft and tends to have no taste is good news for producing delicious food compositions.
So today I will share the recipe for Deep-Fried Tofu Stuffed With Vegetables. I promise this is an easy step, and does not use eggs.
Ingredients
- 6 block tofu
Stuffing material
- 100 grams of carrots
- 100 grams of cabbages
- 3 cloves of red onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- 2 bay leaves
- A pinch of salt
Flour coating ingredients
- 20 grams of all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons of rice flour
- 100 ml of cold water
How to make
- Step 1
Prepare tofu.
Cut the square shaped tofu into triangles by cutting at the center line.
- Step2
Make a hole in the tofu.
The remaining filling from the tofu hole can be used to make tofu omelette. You can see the recipe HERE So no part of tofu is wasted.
- Step 3
Cut vegetables and saute with seasonings.
- Step 4
Prepare the flour to be used to coat the tofu. Mix 20 grams of all-purpose flour with 2 tablespoons of rice flour and 100 ml of cold water.
- Step 5
Start filling the hole in the tofu with stir-fried vegetables.
- Step 6
Dip the tofu contents in the flour mixture.
- Step 7
Fried tofu to brown.
- Step 8
Serve with sauce.

6 blocks tofu? How many grams do they have? Tofu blocks that I can buy here are 200g each, so 6 of them would feed at least 6 people :)

Although I come from a food technology background, still I have not come across such dish. Thanks for sharing such healthy and nutritive dish with us. By looking to the ingredients it seems to be very healthy for body builders and gymers. I hope you should really try for some patent over this product if not available earlier.

I had never thought of stuffing tofu before reading this. I have deep-fried tofu before, when it's about to go off, as it toughens up and you can add it to stews or other sauce-rich dishes.
