Hoy les contaré y mostraré un poco de mi visita en el año 2019 al estadio del Club Atlético de Madrid F.C, el Wanda Metropolitano

Today I will tell you and show you a bit of my visit in 2019 to the Club Atlético Madrid Stadium, Wanda Metropolitano.

El Wanda Metropolitano queda ubicado en el barrio de Rosas (Distrito San Blas-Canillejas), en Madrid, España. Fue inaugurado como propiedad del Atlético el 16 de septiembre de 2017, sustituyendo su antiguo estadio, "El Vicente Calderón". Su aforo actualmente es de 68 456 espectadores y está catalogado por la UEFA (Union des Associations Européennes de Football) como "estadio de élite"

The Wanda Metropolitano is placed in the neighborhood of Rosas (Distrito San Blas-Canillejas), in Madrid, Spain. It was inaugurated as Atlético's property in September 16th of 2017, replacing its old stadium, *"El Vicente Calderón". Its current capacity is 68.456 spectators and it is cataloged for UEFA (Union des Associations Européennes de Football= as an "élite stadium".

Como les contaré en mis próximos post (¡estén atentos!), en el año 2018 realicé un tour con la Orquesta Sinfónica Simón Bolívar de Venezuela al Vaticano, en el que enfrentamos algunas dificultades para regresarnos y nos quedamos varados 1 semana en Madrid.

As I will tell you in my next posts (stay in tune!), in 2018 I had a tour with Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela to The Vatican, in which we went through some difficulties to return and we were stranded one week in Madrid.

Yo soy fanático del F.C. Barcelona, pero como buen fanático del fútbol en general, así como en uno de mis post anteriores les conté mi visita al estadio Santiago Bernabéu (Real Madrid F.C), no podía dejar de ir a este nuevo y gran estadio. Así que organicé con dos amigos y nos fuimos al estadio.

I am a fanatic of F.C Barcelona, but as a good fan of soccer in general, as I told you about my visit to Santiago Bernabéu Stadium (Real Madrid F.C) in one of my previous post, I could not stop going to this new and great stadium. So two friends and I agreed to go there.

Eran las 3 a.m. y uno de mis mejores amigos cumplía años ese día, por lo que dije más en chiste que en serio "vayamos al Wanda", a ellos les pareció una genial idea, así que pedimos un Uber para ir, una completa locura.

It was 3 a.m and it was one of my best friend's birthday, just that day, so I told him more like a joke "let's go to Wanda" and they thought it was a great idea, then we called an Uber to go, it was insane.

Luego de unos minutos de viaje, llegamos al estadio. Por supuesto este estaba completamente solo y hacía un frío increíble pero eso no fue impedimento para sacarnos algunas fotos con algunas de las cosas mas icónicas del club en el estadio.

After some minutes of trip, we arrived to the stadium. Of course this was completely empty and it was very cold but it was not an impediment to take some pictures with some of the most iconic things of the club at the Stadium.

Luego de un rato observando todo lo que había en el estadio, queríamos verlo por dentro, pero evidentemente estaba todo cerrado. Sin embargo, subimos hasta un espacio donde se veía el campo, y pude tomar algunas fotos.

After a while watching everything in the stadium we wanted to see it inside, but it was obviously closed. However, we climbed to a space where we could saw the field and I could take some pictures.

Para mi como fanático del fútbol, conocer los estadios de 2 de los mejores y más importantes equipos del mundo, fue un sueño.

For me, as a soccer fan, meeting the stadiums of two of the best and more important teams of the world was a dream.

Luego de observar el campo y darle algunas vueltas al estadio mientras conversabamos, llamamos otro Uber y nos devolvimos al hotel, sin duda fue un día muy especial.

After seeing the field and take a ride around the stadium just talking, we called another Uber and we returned to the hotel, I have no doubts, it was a very special day.
