Now don't get me wrong, I definitely can see that the odds are against Tony.

Tony is coming off of two pretty bad losses. Tony is getting older. Tony has a huge matchup against a very talented and hot veteran in Beneil Darisuh.

Tony's losses looked rather bad for the most part. Beneil is definitely the favorite, I will admit. Beneil is also a respectful and humble dude, for the most part. I would not hate it if Beneil won, Beneil as a matter of fact has his own compelling story and career.

But man, I really do have a soft spot for Tony for some reason. He can be a bit of a character, a bit crazy even. But I don't think he's as crazy as everyone thinks he is. He obviously has some mental difficulties, but honestly that's what makes him relatable.

I don't even know if Tony puts on a character for the public, or what. But I don't think he is too much.

In my opinion, Tony is just a real and regular dude, with maybe a couple mental problems. He has a big chip on his shoulder.

Unless you think you're perfect, who can't relate to Tony? At least a little?

Tony is not exactly politically correct, he's not a straight up jerk either. I've always loved his interviews and his overall honesty. Tony sort of mirrors society as a whole. Imperfect, but trying his best. Who can't relate?

What if Tony went on a title run out of nowhere?

I believe it would be one of, if not THE greatest MMA storyline and career ever. Seriously. I don't care if Tony never would even defend the title.

Tony is absolutely a fan favorite and well liked by MMA fans and fighters alike. I believe many people wish that Tony will bounce back. But how many actually believe Tony will bounce back in a mega way? Has anyone pondered the possibility?

Many people wish Tony would bounce back. But I can't help but feel like nobody truly has faith that Tony will do it. I think a lot of people believe Tony is past his prime, his title window is over.

It really is hard to imagine, I'll admit. Before Tony's two losses in a row, he was on an incredible TWELVE fight win streak. To a lot of people Tony was the uncrowned champ. The people's champ.

It's a lot to ask a fighter to bounce back after such highs, such momentum, and then to deal with the lows of two straight losses when a title shot was right within his grasp.

But if any fighter could beat the odds and shock the world, I can't help but think that maybe Tony could do it. Would you doubt a guy like this?

I mean before Tony started his twelve fight win streak, did anyone believe he could pull that off?

Right now, many people are starting to believe Tony is washed up. A crazy fighter with his best year's behind him. His clout is gone, right?

But who else do you think could possibly comeback from such hurdles than this crazy mofo? If anyone can rise up from the ashes and shock the world, I think Tony could.

If Tony could come back from all of these challenges and get a UFC Title around his waist, I do believe that Tony would instantly become one of the GOATS for real.

I know this a lot of what ifs and things like that, but it's fun to wonder!

Tony has an epic and massive roadblock ahead of him if he wants to go on an epic run that shocks the world. That roadblock goes by the name of Beneil Dariush.

Dariush is a burly, strong technically sound and well-rounded fighter. He's been overlooked very similar to Tony throughout his career.

This fight is going to be huge. I'm nervous! I'm pulling for Tony! Won't be mad either way because Beneil deserves a lot of success too.

Basically, I feel like Tony is a wildcard, anything is possible with Tony. He could lose three more times and be released by the UFC, or he coukd seriously win the Title.
