The new metrics seem to have not caused any concerns and so are here to stay.

The Hive Engagement League
This league is not based around financial rewards and relates to engagement.
Everyone currently on my master list has a chance here, including those powering down or dealing in delegations over the past couple of weeks. Only the top 100 scores are shown.
The score is made up from a simple formula which uses the following types of engagement:
- Posts (P)
- Comments (C)
- Number of people spoken to (PS)
- Comments outside of own posts (CO)
- Unique Author posts (UA)
- Comments - replies to replies - depth > 2 (CR)
- Comments - length in characters (CL)
- Up-votes to others (V)
- Up-votes to different authors (UV)
- Self-votes - No minus score but no bonus HIVE(SV)

I have already Joined the feelgood community as the name sounds like somewhere I definitely want to be. It sounds like I am Just in time for a Jolly fun round of the AlphabetHunt and no Joke. I suspect this round will get the creative Juices flowing and Jolt us into Joining the Joyous action. Now I must go and check what letter is required for this round. 😁

Haha, never can tell which way the wind is blowing! Although I'm taking this week off work and generally digitally detoxing (despite music releases and radio shows online) so might be sniffing around on HIVE and get that "part-timer's cut" yet 😃

I ranked higher than usual this week. I've had more free time and I can always find something on Hive to read. I created 3 new accounts for people this week, so I hope they get into it.

Looks like it was a slightly down week for the weekly numbers, but it was still a good week over all I think. No real significant drop off in numbers. For myself also a slightly down week, but over all a pretty consistent week, my own numbers were only slightly off. I have been working on putting up a little more content, that though is always difficult to do at times for me.

I've been a bit slow on publishing posts recently, as I've had a goal of one post per day, which happened for a moment. Now that I'm in a race, it's encouraging me to be more productive moving forward. Engagement is certainly important to growing and sustaining our Hive, which is not just a matter of curating others, but also creating your own content to get that engagement going.
That's why I'm glad that you've taken the time to compile all this data for others to learn from, and hopefully be inspired! Thankfully I didn't miss out on your post here, because for some reason, despite your Mention, Peakd didn't notify me at all!

You are right about the balancing of posting ana engaging in and outside your own blog - there is a ‘grind’ which has to happen for almost all new accounts, lots of time and work required.

I've been using Ginabot and Hivebot on Discord, they work pretty well but can be a bit intrusive (especially after this post!).

Ah, cheers for that! I'm using the old pre-Notifications Steemit method of logging into HiveBlocks, and seeing all the actions there. It's no doubt a cluster-buck of information, but I find it somewhat pleasing to just go through all the data being logged into the Blockchain.
My score is going down every week!
