¡Hola! Saben que uno de mis hobbies favoritos es dibujarme a mí misma en caricaturas, bueno hace un tiempo me tome unas fotografías un tanto aburrida la verdad y en cuanto las estaba viendo sentí que daba una vibra de delincuente (yo sintiéndome bien gánster jajajaja) asi que realice varios bocetos hasta que conseguí esta ilustración, les mostrare mi proceso espero que sea de su agrado.

Hello! You know that one of my favorite hobbies is to draw myself in caricatures, well some time ago I took some pictures a little bit bored and as soon as I was looking at them I felt that I gave a criminal vibe (me feeling like a gangster hahahaha) so I made several sketches until I got this illustration, I will show you my process I hope you like it.

El primer boceto para realizar esta ilustración lo he hecho en unas páginas que tenía al alcance en ese momento, siendo este el resultado.

The first sketch for this illustration was made on some pages I had at hand at the time, and this is the result.

Lo siguiente ha sido llevar este boceto a digital para ello he tomado unas fotografías lo más nítidas posibles del dibujo y luego coloque dicha imagen en Illustrator para hacer las líneas del dibujo, una vez completado lo exporte como un archivo png.

The next step was to take this sketch to digital for this I took some photographs as clear as possible of the drawing and then I placed this image in Illustrator to make the lines of the drawing, once completed I exported it as a png file.

Una vez completo el dibujo lineal, abrí dicho archivo en Photoshop y perfeccione un poco algunas líneas y procedí a hacer el colorado de la imagen, para ello cree varias capas para ir añadiendo los diferentes colores en capas individuales.

Once the line drawing was complete, I opened the file in Photoshop and refined some lines and proceeded to colorize the image, for this I created several layers to add the different colors in individual layers.

Una vez obtuve la base de color de todo el dibujo procedí a añadir luces y sombras, para esto he creados capas de mascara de recorte en cada capa de color, me gusta mucho este método porque es muy seguro porque mantiene el color de base intacto y si se comete algún error es muy fácil de solucionar,además que se pueden probar diferentes tipos de iluminación.

Once I got the base color of the whole drawing I proceeded to add lights and shadows, for this I created clipping mask layers in each color layer, I really like this method because it is very safe because it keeps the base color intact and if you make a mistake it is very easy to fix, plus you can try different types of lighting.

Lo siguiente fue dibujar el fondo, para los dos tipos de iluminación que había logrado, para la más iluminada opte por un fondo más divertido tal como lo había dibujado en el boceto inicial, contaba con algunos pequeños dibujos a modo de sticker, los cuales dibuje aparte y luego copie sobre el dibujo.

The next thing was to draw the background, for the two types of lighting that I had achieved, for the more illuminated one I opted for a more fun background as I had drawn it in the initial sketch, it had some small drawings as stickers, which I drew separately and then copied over the drawing.

Para la segunda iluminación opte por algo mas lúgubre, con menos detalles, solo un poco de luz amarilla desde la parte derecha, ya que esta iluminación corresponde a una luz semi lateral con la figura central iluminada casi a contra luz.

For the second illumination I opted for something more gloomy, with less details, just a little yellow light from the right side, since this illumination corresponds to a semi lateral light with the central figure illuminated almost against the light.
