My drawing of the most noticeable stool around the house.

It was on Friday, I just had this shocking notice of this stool around the house, it has always been there with that basket on it, we mostly keep onions inside the basket. After checking it out for sometime, I just decided to make a quick drawing of it.

There's really much to drawing but then I prefer painting but I would still love to share the procedures of this artwork with you all.

Process!

I started by sketching the entire stool with the basket of top in order to get the right shape of the stool and to have it in good proportion even with the basket. I then proceeded into shading immediately in order to bring the depth out and to give the piece some solidity. I really didn't pay much attention to having the drawing to be a realism study but rather to have it as a study on "proportion". I kept on adding values to the drawing with different tones and at the end of the day, I was able to arrive at the final look of the piece which you can see above.
