Portrait of Fairy and Owl - Pencil Illustration

Hi Hive Friends!

This is an illustration that I was encouraged to do while feeling inspired by looking at a picture of @natalia_lefay on her instagram account.

His photographs are incredible, full of magic, mystery, mythology and beauty.

I find these photographs inspiring enough to do illustrations and get out of creative blocks.

Materials
For this illustration I used my paper block base 30, pencil, and
silver colored acrylic paint.

Process

This is the photograph that I used as a reference for my illustration
The model has a beautiful face and really looks like a fairy, the owl looks calm and comfortable next to her.

I started doing a sketch of the woman, because it was more complicated for me

I continued with the sketch of the owl but it turned out to be easier and simpler

I made details of light and shadow using pencil 6b

With acrylic paint I made a painting that did not cover the drawing in its entirety and that's it!

I loved doing this type of illustration, but as you know, I love children's illustration, so in the next few days I will upload an illustration based on this same photograph, follow me to see it and I hope you like it.
