A Pen Drawing ( Win Some Hive too👇)

I was drawn to the reference picture by the by the elegance the lady wore Andre confidence she possessed. I spent about 5 days on the drawing.

I started out with a sketch as usual, the only i began to add the details. I used just black ink on paper. Since it was ink, there's no possible of correcting a mistake, so i had to take my time to get it done rightly.

The best part of the drawing was the head gear, i had to get my shading right so that it doesn't appear flat. I followed every detail, one by one. I think I spent a full day on the this alone.

Everyday as i kept doing art, i gradually improved on my areas of deficiencies and began to see certain things differentlly. A non-artist would look at an art piece and say 'damn... that's awesome,' but to an artist there's more. There could be lots of hidden mistakes in that art, that only a fellow artist will see.

Nevertheless, I spiced up the work
with a lovely and simple background. Am yet to get it canvassed and framed but I will do that eventually.
