Greetings! I am pound of flesh / an artist and creator / this is my hive introduction

Hi folks,
I like to paint self-portraits, photograph, make films, use greenscreens, look at pigeons and record them going about their business, watch films, music, listen to film audio, I like white noise when I sleep, I like podcasts when I work, I like horror, I like titanium white paint, I like reading short stories, scrambled thoughts, I like very specific youtube playlists. Ones that say "Japanese medieval fantasy. Ambience of the Forest Palace", I like the snow, I like the mountains, I like the word* pearlescent*. Here's me and my work!

I like photography almost exclusively when I'm shooting myself. This particular shoot got me obsessed with the colors yellow and blue.

Last year I decided to finish all of my unfinished sketchbooks - which I plan to document and display here as a little virtual trip into my constant fever dream-esque state of mind.

Homebodies, they came and they never left, pastels and pen on paper.

I have the most vivid dreams of disconnecting from my body and latching onto beings, things around me.

I like how pastels squeeze the life out of low-quality paper.

Welcome aboard the hive ship scallywag. We're close to set sail to a new destination. You could have come earlier but no biggie. Anytime is better than no time. I hope you enjoy your quarters here. We have holybread, we have weed, we have dreads and we have needs. but together we will dcrape our knees on these decks in search of that wonderful fountain spring. If only we can move this ship across the desert we shoulf be fine. What say ye? ah who am i kidding. the floors need a scrubbing, the kitchen needs cooks. check out the communities to see where you best fit in. everyone is friendly I hear but don't let that fool ye. I only trust as far as i can spit and that ain't far. tread carefully and stick to your lane.

Fantastic and dreamy work.
There will be a welcoming community on Hive that will fully engage with you work, if you’re willing to do the same with them.
Like you say, this is a Greta place to display your past works too.

I get the impression that you’re an artist who lives and breathes your work, so rather than it being merely an expression it’s more of a state of mind. And it shows.

Also I’d suggest you do another post under the tag ‘introduceyourself’ to get more traction on your account.

It could be the same kind of post really, but with some samples of other work.

People search under that tag for new accounts to support.
I think yours will do well.

Seven suggestions to consider:

  1. Guard your passwords carefully, and only publish with the posting key,
  2. Use your active key only for wallet transactions, and Keychain,
  3. The owner password is only used to reset compromised passwords,
  4. DO NOT lose your passwords; copy and store offline,
  5. Do not publish other people's work, be it photos or written, without credit, and be sure to source all of your work, even if it is your own.
  6. An introduceyourself tag is used only once, and
  7. Do Not open any links in memos or comments that you do not know who they belong to. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is, so the old saying goes. There is nothing free here.
