Drawing A Chimpanzee - Animal Series [078]

Hi everyone! Greetings to you all.

Another day, another drawing of a chimpanzee - from my animal series. This time, I drew a chimpanzee that is feeling cold. Crosding his left hand and placing his wrist on his shoulder, he gently rested his chin as he thinks within him.
At first, I used quick short lines create the shape of animal before adding some shades to it in the process.

As usual, I made this work with a blue ballpoint pen on a cardboard paper.

Wow with a ballpoint pen it really be difficult as there need not to be a short merging of error. Appreciate your work. You are a good artist.

Yes, a pen. Wow. I tweeted. Thank you for showing us the steps. I like seeing the transformation and im just shocked. Im sure you make mistakes, youve just learned to art youre way through it. You like the glide of the pen better?

Yeah, I do make mistakes but I always try not not especially when I'm doing a portrait. Sometimes, I do cover the mistake with strokes.

If I like the glide better? Well, It depends on the mood I am and what I want to achieve.

Again another brilliant drawing of a chimpanzee. It seems like that it is your favourite animal to draw. Is there any reason for this?

Did you tried any completely different motifs, like buildings or vehicles for example?

Yeah, it is my favourite because it possesses some characteristics and behaviours which are close to that of humans.
Yeah, I do try others but don't gind them interesting as this one.

Yea, I know about Gorilla she also posses human characteristics but there is this one specie of chimpanzee that has more which is closer to humans and her name is Bonobo. I've drawn and talked about it few days ago.
