To perfect my skills, tonight I will try to describe an animated character that I took on the cover of a notebook. I will try to imitate the style and color of the character as best I can. even though I only have coloring that isn't too perfect. because I colored it using several colored pencils. but for me this is something extraordinary in doing it. it also included an exercise section for me when I faced other challenges that were more complicated than what I had known before.

So, first I will show you step by step when I start by sketching with a simple pencil ..

1. This is the first sketch I made using a simple pencil on a piece of HVS paper.

2. Then I proceed by pulling back the lines to make them look thick black, and trying to make scratches on the hair. I think this is frizzy hair

3. As shown in the picture, this is a cover image inspired by me, it looks the same, right?

4. In the next step I try to draw a tip recorder. this shows that this is closely related to the world of hop or breakdance music. I love it..

5. Now, after I'm done with the sketch. then I started to color using colored pencils, the first thing I did was to color the pants.

6. then I color all parts. including red ribbons and hair sections. I tried using these two parts in a red and black pen. to make it look brighter.

7. And here is the last picture that looks brighter and contrasting. I do this by thickening the existing colors. I put all the pieces of color back there. that's my job tonight for an art picture displayed behind a book cover. Hopefully you like and enjoy it.
