Charcoal Baby Portrait

Hello friends.

2016 was a very creative year for me in the field of portraiture. I painted several charcoal portraits, an acrylic and even an oil painting of an older man. But charcoal was the technique that I used the most for its speed and simplicity. In this case, I managed to make this portrait of a baby in the arms of his mother in a few hours and it was very well received by the person who commissioned me.

I hope that your good critical eye also welcomes this work, which is nothing compared to the high quality of many of the works published here.

Hola amigos.

El año 2016 fue un año muy creativo para mí en el terreno del retrato. Pinté varios retratos a carboncillo, un acrílico e incluso un óleo de un señor mayor. Pero fue el carboncillo la técnica que más usé por su velocidad y sencillez. En este caso, logré realizar este retrato de un bebé en brazos de su madre en algunas horas y tuvo muy buen recibimiento por parte de la persona que me hizo el encargo.

Espero que vuestro buen ojo crítico reciba también con agrado esta obra, que no es nada comparada con la gran calidad de muchas de las obras publicadas aquí.
