Rest in peace Chadwick Boseman, my very own African Superhero || Wakanda forever!!!
This morning I woke up to the news of the passing of Chadwick Boseman, the black panther actor and I was shocked. He is our very own African superhero. I could remember before the making of black panther, I've always wanted a black superhero with an African origin and when the movie came out I was excited. He carried us with dignity in the movie. As I was reading about him I was amazed to find out his ancestors are of Sierra Leone and Yoruba people of Nigeria because I'm also from the Yoruba people of Nigeria. He's one of my people and its so sad and devastating he had passed away. I can't imagine how he had acted so well and bravely even while he was battling with the cancer.
His memories will live on in our heart and I will tell my children the brave story of the first African Superhero named Chadwick Aaron Boseman. With tears in my eyes and sadness in my heart, I made this drawing of him. Reference photo source .
