Hello Everyone. I hope you're all having a wonderful day..
Its been a while since i made the drawing of one of lands biggest mammal, tge elephant. I decided to make this drawing of a calf, which is rge young one of an elephant to see if i still got what it takes to create portraits of these mammals. This drawing depicts a calf ib a grassland. The calf is distinct from the matured elephants by their absence of ivory tusks, short trunks and small body.
I used a black ball point pen and pelican paper for this drawing.
Here are the steps involved.

Firstly, I drew the outline of the elephant and added all its essential features.

Next, I shaded all the dark areas of its skin and began adding details of wrinkles to it.

Afterwards, I shaded and added tones to its wrinkled skin

Finally, i drew some grasses around to depict a field/grassland.

Thank you for taking your time to read and view my drawing. Stay safe and enjoy the rest of your day.

So what?
Maybe he got a scar there, or mud, or scratches..
No reason to use foul language.
