Hola amigos… siguiendo esta iniciativa que empecé hace algunas semanas, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes a mi siguiente personaje DC Comics de la serie “Los Super Amigos”, en esta oportunidad les presento a Robin pintado sobre anime/icopor (Poliestireno expandido).

Hello friends… following this initiative that I started a few weeks ago, today I want to share with you my next DC Comics character from the series “The Super Friends”. This time I present Robin painted on anime / styrofoam. (Expanded Polystyrene)

MANOS A LA OBRA | LET'S DO IT

Materiales:

Anime/icopor (Poliestireno expandido)
Pinturas a base de agua.
Pinceles
Lápiz de grafito
Hojas de papel recicladas
Tijera
Pegamento blanco
Regla
Paleta de pintura
Máquina de corte para Anime/icopor (Poliestireno expandido)

Materials:

Anime / Styrofoam (Expanded Polystyrene)
Water based paints.
Brushes
Graphite pencil
Recycled sheets of paper
Scissors
White glue
Rule
Paint palette
Cutting machine for Anime / Styrofoam (Expanded polystyrene)

PASO A PASO | STEP BY STEP

1. Realicé un corte horizontal del anime/icopor a ½ centímetro. Si no posee la máquina de corte puede utilizar hojillas de corte manual y pasar al siguiente paso.

1. A horizontal cut of the anime / styrofoam to ½ centimeter. If you do not have the cutting machine you can use manual cutting blades.
2. Pegué 4 hojas de papel recicladas y dibujé la silueta de Robin, la capa, las botas, los guantes y el logo que servirán de moldes. Reforcé las piezas pegando más hojas de papel reciclado al reverso. Luego recorté cada una de las piezas.

2. I glued 4 sheets of recycled paper and drew Robin's silhouette, the cape, the boots, the gloves and the logo that will serve as molds. I reinforced the pieces by gluing more sheets of recycled paper to the back. Then I cut out each of the pieces.
3. Utilicé alfileres para ajustar las piezas sobre el trozo de anime/icopor y corté en forma vertical. La silueta y el logo en el trozo grueso y las demás piezas en el trozo de ½ cm.

3. I used pins to fit the pieces over the anime / styrofoam piece and cut vertically. The silhouette and the logo on the thick piece and the other pieces on the ½ cm piece.
4. Marqué con lápiz de grafito los detalles de la figura de Robin. Inicié pintando con los colores bases de la imagen de referencia y luego pinté los detalles de la cara y el resto de las piezas con delineado y sombreado utilizando pintura en color negro. Teniendo ya listas todas piezas, pegué los guantes y las botas sobre la figura de Robin y la capa en la parte de atrás.

4. I marked with graphite pencil the details of the Robin figure. I started by painting with the base colors of the reference image and then I painted the details of the face and the rest of the pieces with outlining and shading using black paint. Having all the pieces ready, I glued the gloves and boots over the Robin figure and the cape on the back.
5. Todo está listo. Corté una base de anime y una identificación con mi nombre que me sirve para colocar el logo de este personaje. Y monté las piezas sobre la base. Y este es el resultado final.

5. Everything is ready. I cut an anime base and an identification with my name that helps me to place the logo of this character. And I assembled the pieces on the base. And this is the final result.
