Discover how my horse Macarré was born
Happy day friends art lovers, today I bring you one of my horses, which as I have said on several occasions gives me great joy to paint them.
This horse is born from my other work of art which is in my previous publication Tronador, when I finished that painting I wanted to make the horse in the Macarré style.
Yes, when I finished my realistic style Tronador, I sat down one day and took my drawing pad and began to make the lines that were giving shape to my horse, I like to play with geometric shapes and curved lines; this results in a three-dimensional figure, expressive as I like it to be.
I hope you like it:
Quinelo
Technical Data Sheet:
Technique: acrylic on opaline cardboard
Size: 33 x 23 cms.
Year: 2021.
Author: María Lorena Carrero. MACARRÉ.
I am going to reveal one of my secrets as an artist, I am a person that when I start to draw I like to be alone, without noise, without music, without people next to me, that moment when I start to create I make it unique, my time, my creation, my parallel world.
Process of elaboration of my Quinelo
I took my sketch pad and my 2B pencil and traced the lines that gave shape to my horse. The image of the shape was already in my mind as well as the position I wanted it in.
When I went to paint I was undecided between acrylics or permanent markers, in the end I chose acrylics.
After working the contours with black I wanted to use the pointillism technique and applied the white and metallic colors of gold and bronze.
