A Little of This & A Little of That...

It’s not too often hop on here and post up about some random crap going on. Well it isn’t all crap... Why did I call it crap anyway??? Stuff, Things, Events... Crap. just sounds like horrible things are happening or things are.... crappy????? So I have some pretty cool photos on my phone that I had planned on making a post about but... without a whole bunch of other photos I don’t think they would quite work for my style posts. So why not drop a few random photos and see there this posts takes me???....

It’s that time of the year when the seasons begin changing once again. It happens every year... imagine that. Where I live we get a definite 4 seasons. 110F in the Summer and below 0F in the winter. Windy spring and a dreary/windy fall. This year the snow decided to perform a sneak attack on us. At my house it was raining like a sum biotch when I got called to a power outage up in the foot hills of the Blue Mountains. #ihaterain I left the house and 20 minutes down the highway the rain stops. My anger and annoyance left and I felt bright and happy inside even though it was 11 pm. Then we hit about 6-8 inches of snow where the outage was located. Perfect... just perfect. After blazing a trail through the fresh 6-8 inches of snow, we found a few places where the snow had weighed down the trees and caused them contact the Powerlines. We also cleared off some spans of wire that were pretty loaded up with snow. After inspecting all the troubled sections of line and nearly getting stuck a dozen times or so, we energized the line and everyone had lights once again. Thank God my truck turns into a spaceship at night... it sure is nice being able to light the place up at night.

After getting home at 5:30 am and taking a nice 4 hr nap I was starving!! I had a sudden craving for a hot pastrami sandwich on sourdough... So I threw some pastrami in a pan with some sliced up yellow and orange bell pepper. Then toasted some sourdough bread and mashed some avocado into each piece. Then I took the pastrami piled some on the avocado toast and laid a piece of pepperjack cheese on top. Then added a little more pastrami and another slice of pepperjack cheese... What a Masterpiece!!

If you are asking... Yes it was amazing!!!

Now if this Halloween costume ain’t funny to you... then you better go get your sense of humor checked. @w-splatts shouldn’t get tired truck-or-treating this year. That T-Rex should be able to go for miles!!

Then the other day I was headed back from an outage near the Wind farms. These wind turbines are around 300 feet tall with 100 foot blades on them. As you wind your way through the hills they just pop up over the hilltops. They look as though they just shouldn’t be there, looking really fake. Ahead of me it seemed like the clouds were covering up one of the blades. Then as I got closer...

Must be that new efficient 2 1/4 blade design

I wonder where the rest of it went... probably just scattered along the countryside. Don’t tell me that wouldn’t have been crazy to watch happen. Seeing pieces of that blade hurling through the air. Well hopefully non of the free range cattle go killed in the incident.

With just a couple swift moves of a thumb, these smartphone deleos can snap a photo in no time flat. Without even taking my eye off the road... “point... and...shoot* Headed to work when the sun comes up and going home when the sun goes down.
