Splinterlands weekly challenge and this week theme is CHILD OF THE FOREST

Another UNTAMED card which you can get with packs. This time EARTH splinter and again, do not really consider it too much usable still at my higher level account, while concentrated on leveling up more stronger monsters.
So will go with analyzing the fight at basic 1st level

What do we have here. Main advantage is very high Speed and pretty low mana. That's workable with a low fights, though only 1 range attack and only 2 life. Could be cool with Selenia as summoner, pity do not have it :)

But challenge is challenge, lets see how much easy is to win using this card as one of elements of final line-up. Actually it took me 5 fights to wait to more or less good conditions and win. Moreover, win against 4th level cards! Quite epic, so lets see

Here is final line-up using Lyanna Natura as summoner

REXXIE. Average speed, high Melee attack and higher Life
CENTAURI IMAGE. Average Speed, low Magic attack, very high Life and interesting Return Fire ability
CHILD OF THE FOREST. Very high Speed. Low Range attack and lower Life + Snipe
MUSHROOM SEER. Average Magic attack, low Speed and average Life. Silence ability
SAND WORM. Killing beast with very high Melee attack and Life, but low Speed. Sneak ability may change everything
JAVELIN THROWER. Average Range attack with higher Speed and Life + Piercing

40 mana fight, so theory was pretty simple - try to use highest mana monsters. Do not use Rexxie really often, but that was the case. Not much sophisticated line-up, but trying to put Monsters with additional abilities.
Opponent used Death splinter. with much stronger level cards and attack count. At first sight that was 100% loss, but... this game sometimes is so much unpredictable and brings a lot of surprises. Counting that lost two melee attacks due opponent's summoner de-buff and also additional ability of Mushroom Seer appeared to be totally useless, since no magic monsters against...

Basically won mostly due to heavy Sneak Melee attack of Sand Worm, while still Child of the Forest stayed in front of Vampire at certain round keeping the borders :D
