What was the most memorable thing about your first relationship?

Okay, it doesn't have to be a serious relationship. It could be your first fling with someone. A lot of us went through the "your first" phase. You know, a kiss, holding hands, or a "date".

I put down some example of nonsexual interactions because the intimate ones would be too obvious. I mean, if that's all you remember, that's cool too. But, this question is digging a little deeper, in a different way.

For me, mine was back in seventh grade. She was more or less a tsundere. If you don't know what that means, I'd suggest you to look it up. The most important thing that came out of it was shaping my preference.

In short, I did not prefer a tsundere. And looking back, a lot of the stuff she did could be seem as very offensive in today's culture. I might write more about it in a future post.

Anyways, what was the most memorable part of your first fling/relationship?

Was it a valuable lesson? Defining your expectations? Embarrassing stories? Please comment below.

Be yourself and don’t be someone you aren’t. If they can handle you being you... welp see ya!! So it takes a special person to handle me 😉 My wife is bad ass and she don’t even know it. Lol.

I had someone that hated when I smoked weed and I would come over and hang out before she got home. I would chill with her mom and dad and eat whatever goodies her mom offered up. Then she would show up and be like... “Are you stoned again?!?!!” “Yep”. She would get all pissy about it. Then she would go smoke with her friends... how weird is that??? Or am I weird for eating cookies with her parents?....

Yep, she wasn’t a daily smoker like I was. Most of the time she had no idea, but sometimes I was a little too obvious. Oops my bad. 😜😜

The layer is ethereal. With those girls it’s pathological

I used to chase a girl around the playground. How silly we were back then!

I learned that hot people are a dime a dozen and that intelligent hot people are not. :)

thanks, people who play 'dumb bunny' and think that their 15 minutes of being the "IT"person on anything is enough to sustain them through the long haul are either delusional or hiding aspects of themselves that are unsavory. Andy Warhol had this pegged WAY before "influencers" or the internet where it's turned into a shitshow of who can be the bigger beyatch or can 'flex' the most with their harem.
Women like me who can stand on their own, INVEST on their own and run their own biz tend to be outsiders on here, which is fine by me as well as when I meet or find 'diamonds' on here , instead of seeing them as competition I try to work in collaboration.
what a concept right?

^^^^^how is that empowering? If men made pinatas of womens parts and were smashing them there would be a HUGE outcry , the double standards on gender affairs make me wanna hurl most days.

She kissed me and I wasn't prepared for it. It was awkward AF and I still look back on it and laugh.

What was her reaction after that awkward moment?

Uh, well, after she kissed me, I kinda booked it out of there. And then told her off over the phone later. I know, not my brightest moment. We wound up dating shortly thereafter, and stayed together through high school. I went out of town for college, and the incredibly wise younger me decided to not stay with her in a long distance relationship so I broke up with her before I left. Younger me justified this in that we both can have happy memories of our time together. She's my only ex that I can look back on and truly say I'm happy about all of our time together.

That in itself is saying a lot about her.

Oh, no. I met up with her recently, we're very different people now. It wouldn't have lasted.

I saw your post today so had come look for this first post. I am glad you defined tsundere. I had never heard that word before today.

My first relationship was oddly super healthy. We started dating freshman year of high school and were great friends. We did “stuff” but never went all the way even though we dated 3 years. He was just a really good person. So, I guess it set a nice bar for the rest of life.

That is very fortunate for you.

Yeah, there are a lot more different “dere” out there.
