The hives are ready - Now we wait

(Edited)

With the hive stands in place, the sugar water feeders ready, built the work table and the hives are in place. Now I must wait for my packages of bees.

The table is attached to a 4x4 post that I set in concrete. Carrying down buckets if concrete was probably the hardest part of this setup. But it's all done and I am glad.

Added a special touch to the hives and table.. with the naming of my favorite social blockchain it was quite fitting to add them to my bee equipment.

The table will help me with holding tools or my camera while I work. Its two feet wide and eight feet long.

Using my stencil I painted my planters with. I put it between the two boards that made the tables surface.

I dont think the bees will mind the logos. Since its red they should not even be able to see it... lol

There was a little overspray but some mud took it off. I think the grit in it helps to remove the spray that got where I didnt want it.

With the sun setting I wrapped up as the light faded behind the ridgeline. Should be another month or less before I get my two packages of bees.. cant wait :)

Thanks dude, couldnt think of a better fit. Also helps me mark my hives if they ever got stolen so I can prove they are mine.

Hah thanks, well its not my logo.. just the community logo I got off the internet.

Yeah you need warm temps for the spraypaint to work well, make sure you protect the hive from overspray or it tends to get all over the place.
