Vom Land Nordrhein-Westfalen geförderte Drohnen mit Wärmebildkamera haben in diesem Jahr bereits Rehkitze vor dem Mähtod bewahrt.

Da die Jungtiere sich bei Gefahr einfach nur ducken und klein machen, werden sie meistens übersehen und dann vom Mähdrescher erfasst.
