Is this simple enough? I don't think we can go to war on anybody but our own defects.
With rigorous self observation we are likely to find plenty worth fighting against!
Many sacred texts have wars in them including the Bible and Bhagavad Ghita. After some thinking, I believe we must interpret this internally, and fight to overcome ourselves. In 1 Corinthians 9:27 Paul says, 'I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.'
Personally my experience is that we are all connected, and this connection either has or begets a natural form of morality, perhaps it is vibrational. Some electromagnetic permeation of our entire universe.
To love the One is to love each of the multiple variety of the All.
Human creativity is like this, I don't cling to ideas as my own, because I didnt make them, I only found them. When sharing ideas, its clear that other people can find most but not all of the ideas I have and that I can also find their ideas in my mind as well.
Through our creative wills, we are made in the very image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:27),and this creativity is not limited to painting or dancing, but a CREATION of future states.
Think of a sandwich. Your favorite sandwich. Then go and make it a reality, even if you have to go to the store for lettuce.
Cause and effect says, no lettuce because I ran out'. But humans have the creative potential to opt out of the chain of cause and effect.
We just need to realize it. And do it.

Ummm, you are not wrong, but you are also not correct.
I am finding it impossible to untangle what you wrote into truths and fallacies.
You have complete misunderstood what is being said in the Bhagavad Gita.
However, your conclusion that all is one, and thus the battle is always internal, is accurate.
Still, you may find yourself in external conflicts with your fellow beings.
And then you must realize that the battle is the same within as without,
and you do not fight your foe with anger in your heart, or scorn in your eyes.
