We Pray Thee....

I was caught in a little traffic on my way to work this morning, and thought of a different sort of motivation for my week...

As usual, it came in the form of poetry. Enjoy...

We could each write a thousand words,
Each word more thoughtful than the last..
We could even sing aloud, a hundred songs,
We could sing them slow, or maybe sing them fast..

But how many books do we have to write,
To bring to bear all our best laid plans..?
And how many songs, of love and light,
Would bring us close, to that success dance?

So instead in these few lines,
We'll pray thee open, oh heaven's doors..
Let every little thing that births our smile,
Let them come to us, in two's and four's...
