Monday evening came too soon, they agreed to meet up at Dominos Pizza by 4 pm, but Moses showed up 30 minutes earlier. He didn't mind waiting, he told Hulu he left his house earlier to beat the traffic, he doesn't want anything to spoil the day. Hulu finally showed up by 4 pm, and once again she was greeted by his charming smile and beautiful dentition.

You look beautiful. Moses said.

Thank you. Hulu replied.

What would you like to order? He asked.

I'm sorry, I'm not really a fan of pizza... Can we go somewhere else, maybe a lounge? she replied.

I'm sorry I thought you like pizza... I know somewhere, they make the best-grilled fish. Moses said.

Oh yeah, that sounds fun... She replied.

So as they stood up to leave, Hulu had a better look at him.

Omg!! He is short!!!!! Hulu screamed in her head. That's why he looked so small in his car, damn! What on earth I'm I doing with a short man? She continued to think.

This way. Moses said showing her where he packed his car as he interrupts her thoughts.

Thank you. Hulu replied and feigned a smile. They got into the car and left.

Okay, just go on the date, go home, and never take his calls. She thought.

They got to the lounge, it was a beautiful place and had its scenery by the sea.

Omg, this scenery is so beautiful, I pass by this place every day from work and I never knew it was this beautiful. Hulu said.

Yea, but I think you will get cold when it gets dark because of your dress. Moses said.

Well, I don't care. I love it here. I've always imagined a beach wedding and a honeymoon in a beach house. I love the waters. I'm a Scorpio and my element is water, I guess that explains my obsession with water. Hulu said.

We can go to the beach someday if you love it that much. Moses said.

Sure, I look forward to that. she replied.

They spent the rest of the evening learning about each other and having fun.

It's almost 10 pm, I need to go, I'm working tomorrow. Hulu said.

Okay then, let me drop you off. He replied.

He dropped her off at home and bade themselves goodbye.

Hey biggie, good evening. Hulu greeted her big brother

How was your date? He asked her.

Well, it was great. She replied, but she wasn't looking pleased.

Why is your face like that? Biggie asked.

He's short! Hulu said. Everything is okay, he's funny, smart, I mean we got along really well but I don't want to be with a short man.* She said.

How short is he? Biggie asked.

He's literally the same height as me. I'm 5" 3, and that's short for a man. I'm not a tall a woman so I need a tall man, I want to feel small with my man. Hulu replied.

What does he do for a living? Biggie asked.

That's another problem, He works as a contract staff in a Telecommunication company so he doesn't earn much. If I'm going to date a short man, he should at least be rich! Hulu said.

Look at you, you are broke ass and you are looking for a rich man. How can you be looking for something you don't have... Biggie said laughing at Hulu.

Biggie you are a troll, you are never on my side!! She said.

But seriously, you have two tall and better-earning guys trying to woo you, but you never agreed to go on a date because you don't like their energy. But you got along with this dude, maybe you should just give him a chance.. Biggie said.

Well, he has not asked me to date him yet, until he tells me his intention then I'll think about it. She replied.

She felt her phone buzz.

Oh, he's calling. She said and ran to her room to pick up the call.

Hey, ermm, are you home now? Hulu said.

Yea, what are you doing? Moses asked.

Nothing, I'm just about to sleep. She said.

Okay, so obviously I really like you, I don't want to say, love, because I know it will scare you away as it's too soon. But I want you to be my girlfriend, I wanted that from the first day I saw you. He said.

Wow, I mean you are a nice person, and I won't deny the fact that we connected but I think it's too soon. And I'll like us to be friends first, know more about each other, and see how it goes. Hulu replied.

Even if we stay friends, we might not be that close to know more about each other. We stand a better chance at learning each other when we date, please don't say no. He said.

I have to think about it, I'll give you my answer in two weeks. Hulu said.

Okay, but do I still get to see you while I wait? Moses asked.

Sure... Hulu replied. I have to sleep, goodnight.

She wanted to say yes that night, the connection she felt with him was undeniable. But she couldn't let go of the fact that he was short, she decided to sleep and not think about it.
