Visiting the Pyramids of Egypt was a trip we had a long time planning and the day had finally come to leave. The dream of seeing those beautiful structures that I only saw in the movies could now come true.

We took the plane that would take us directly to Egypt, the flight seemed endless, because I already wanted to be there and see all those wonders.

Upon arrival we settled into the hotel and they told us to prepare ourselves with suitable clothes since early tomorrow we would leave for the desert and our adventure would begin.

I couldn't sleep waiting to see the sunrise to leave for our expedition. When the others got off, we were in the hotel lobby waiting for the rest of the group. We would be led by a guide, who was already waiting for us to leave.

We spread out in 4x4 trucks and when we got to a certain place they made us get off, I said: are we going to rest? But if we go out !! They answered me: No madam, from now on we will go to Camel.

I have never ridden such an animal, I will fall !!

The guide very gently explained to me how I should do to sit well in the chair of the beautiful and noble animal. We continued on our way, now it was fun because I was seeing the desert sand. I already felt my adrenaline rushing through my veins. In a short time of walking on a camel I could see the pyramids, my emotion was not normal.

Upon reaching the pyramid I could not believe that I was fulfilling my dream. Everything was beautiful and huge, as seen in the movies, but even better haha. Inside the pyramid there was a lot of luxury, a lot of gold and the sarcophagi were arranged in rooms that looked like labyrinths, for that reason the need to take a guide, to lead the way and not get lost.

Suddenly we realized that we were walking without our guide, we started looking for him taking turns not to lose our way. Before long one of the tourists found him lying on the ground, bloodied and with a knife by his side. They had murdered him, who was the murderer? Why did he kill him?

Police arrived immediately, collected the body, and took the weapon away for investigation. We were told that we should return to the hotel for our safety. The next day they rewarded us for what happened and took us back to finish the tour, but this time in vans and with police security.

They told us that the guide saw some people trying to steal the gold that the pyramid keeps and that is why they killed him. Poor man. Despite this unpleasant and unfortunate accident, we ended our trip and returned to the house under the security of the country's police.

There was an invitation to return when we wanted and we were treated excellently well.

Visitar las Pirámides de Egipto era un viaje que teníamos mucho tiempo planeando y por fin había llegado el día de partir. El sueño de ver esas hermosas estructuras que solo veía en las películas ahora se podría hacer realidad.

Tomamos el avión que nos llevaría directo a Egipto, me pareció interminable el vuelo, pues yo ya quería estar allá y ver todas esas maravillas.

Al llegar nos acomodamos en el hotel y nos dijeron que nos prepararamos con ropa adecuada ya que mañana temprano saldríamos hacia el desierto y comenzaría nuestra aventura.

No pude dormir esperando ver el amanecer para partir a nuestra expedición. Cuando los demás bajaron ya nosotros nos encontrábamos en el lobby del hotel esperando por el resto del grupo. Seríamos dirigidos por un guía, quien ya estaba esperando por nosotros para partir.

Nos repartimos en camionetas 4x4 y al llegar a cierto lugar nos hicieron bajar, yo dije: vamos a descansar ? Pero si vamos saliendo !! Me contestaron: No señora, de aquí en adelante iremos en Camello.

Nunca he montado un animal de esos, me caeré !!

El guía muy gentilmente me explicó cómo debía hacer para quedar bien sentada en la silla del hermoso y noble animal. Continuamos nuestro camino, ahora era ameno porque iba viendo la arena del desierto. Ya sentía mi adrenalina correr en mis venas. En poco tiempo de estar caminando en camello pude divisar las pirámides, mi emoción no era normal.

Al llegar a la pirámide no podía creer que estuviera cumpliendo mi sueño. Todo era hermoso y enorme, tal como se ve en las películas, pero aún mejor jaja. Adentro de la pirámide había mucho lujo, mucho oro y los sarcófagos estaban dispuestos en habitaciones que parecían laberintos, por eso la necesidad de llevar a un guía, para que dirija el camino y no perderse.

De repente nos dimos cuenta que caminábamos sin nuestro guía, comenzamos a buscarlo haciendo turnos para no perder el camino. Al poco rato uno de los turistas lo encontró tirado en el suelo, ensangrentado y con un cuchillo a su lado. Lo habían asesinado, quién era el asesino? Por qué lo mató ?

La policía llegó de inmediato, recogieron el cadáver y se llevaron el arma para su investigación. Nos dijeron que debíamos regresar al hotel por nuestra seguridad. Al siguiente día nos recompensaron por lo sucedido y nos llevaron de nuevo a terminar el tour, pero esta vez en camionetas y con seguridad policial.

Nos contaron que el guía vio a unas personas tratando de robar el oro que guarda la pirámide y que por eso lo mataron. Pobre hombre. A pesar de ese desagradable y lamentable accidente terminamos nuestro viaje y regresamos a la casa bajo la seguridad de la policía del país.

Quedó la invitación a volver cuando quiciéramos y nos trataron excelentemente bien.
