Tension running deep
Legs and waist wearied
We ran as our legs could carry
From the hunting shadows of the deep.
Nervous, unsettled, shaking
Why did we chant these incantation
Said it five time, we were joking
Now see as we were running.
No rest since the reawakening.
The priest, babalawo came to help
None has seen it instead
Prayers, chants, ablution
Everyone is scared, even the dead
The grave calls for restitution.
Exorcist came to the rescue
Grievous quotes from the Bible
Holy water, Rosary, cross
Back to hell he was cursed.
