Fin de semana de descanso / Weekend off

Holis!, este fin de semana que pasó finalmente puedo decir que fue un fin de semana de descanso, tuve tiempo para mí y dejé las obligaciones de lado (bueno no del todo) así que aquí vamos...

Hi!, this past weekend I can finally say that it was a weekend of rest, I had time for myself and I left obligations aside (well not completely) so here we go....

Los viernes por lo general trato de ver series hasta tarde para que me dé chance de colocarme al día, pero este viernes no fue así, ya que me encontraba muy cansada y decidí dormir temprano.

On Fridays I usually try to watch series until late to give me a chance to catch up, but this Friday it wasn't like that, as I was very tired and decided to sleep early.

El sábado desperté temprano pues tengo una gatita (Kara Melissa) quien suele llegar a las 6:30 AM, llorando mucho (es su forma de pedir que se le abra la puerta, ella no duerme dentro del apartamento por decisión propia, pues le gusta pasar la noche saltando techos, aún así todas las noches llora para que se le abra, entra, come y vuelve a llorar para salir de nuevo, sí es un poco malcriada) luego de abrirle la puerta a Kara para que entre, me vestí y acomodé para sacar a orinar a mi can hija (Susy Amor).

Saturday I woke up early because I have a kitty (Kara Melissa) who usually arrives at 6: 30 AM, crying a lot (it is her way of asking to open the door, she does not sleep inside the apartment by choice, because she likes to spend the night jumping ceilings, even so every night she cries to be opened, enters, eats and cries again to go out again, yes she is a little spoiled) after opening the door for Kara to enter, I got dressed and settled to take my canine daughter (Susy Amor) to pee.

Salimos, ella orinó y volvimos al apartamento, ya listas para dormir otro ratico más. 10am ya oficialmente amaneció para todas las integrantes de este hogar 😊, los fines de semana es mi turno de cocinar, así que preparé unas arepas rellenas con mantequilla y queso rallado 🤤 y una deliciosa taza de café ☕ . Luego de desayunar comenzamos a hacer oficios (limpiar, arreglar, lavar) en el apartamento y luego me acuesto a perezosear solo un poquito más, pues estaba consciente que el almuerzo que tenía en mente me llevaría bastante tiempo.

We went out, she peed and we went back to the apartment, ready to sleep for another little while. 10am was officially dawn for all the members of this home 😊, on weekends it's my turn to cook, so I prepared some arepas stuffed with butter and grated cheese 🤤 and a delicious cup of coffee ☕ . After breakfast we start doing chores (cleaning, fixing, washing) in the apartment and then I go to bed to laze just a little bit more, as I was aware that the lunch I had in mind would take me quite some time.

Primera vez en mi vida que usaría una olla de presión, pues el menú era pabellón 🤤; así que rápidamente y con la ayuda de @isamorales escogimos las caraotas, las lavé y las coloqué a cocinar y mientras estas se ablandaban en la olla de presión, comencé a picar los aliños que luego les agregaría. No soy muy ágil en la cocina así que preparar este plato fue todo un reto.
Mientras las caraotas se cocinaban, se sofreían los aliños, puse a hacer el arroz, y a picar los aliños para la carne mechada (que por suerte estaba ya cocida) y a su vez puse a cocinar la comidita de mi Susy Amor (a ella no le gusta la perrarina, así que debemos hacerle comiditas especiales).

First time in my life that I would use a pressure cooker, since the menu was a pavilion 🤤; so quickly and with the help of @isamorales we chose the beans, I washed them and put them to cook and while they were softening in the pressure cooker, I started to chop the seasonings that I would later add to them. I am not very agile in the kitchen so preparing this dish was quite a challenge.
While the beans were cooking, the seasonings were frying, I started making the rice, and chopping the seasonings for the shredded meat (which luckily was already cooked) and at the same time I started cooking the food for my Susy Amor (she doesn't like dog food, so we have to make special meals for her).

Luego de un rato (unas cuantas horas la verdad) el almuerzo estaba listo!!! Nos gustó mucho, para ser mi primera vez con este plato me fue genial, con un gran PERO, sí, es que no hice tajadas 😞 (plátano maduro frito), es que ya estaba agotada de la cocina, así que lo dejé pasar por esta oportunidad 🙊🤭.

After a while (a few hours really) lunch was ready!!!! We liked it a lot, for my first time with this dish it went great, with one big BUT, yes, is that I didn't make tajadas 😞 (fried ripe plantain), is that I was already exhausted from cooking, so I let it go for this opportunity 🙊🤭.

Almorzamos, limpié la cocina y me di una ducha un poco rápida para salir.

We had lunch, I cleaned up the kitchen and took a quick shower to get out.

Fuimos a realizar unas compras y al llegar al lugar justo acababan de cerrar, así que decidimos llevar al parque a Susy Amor, nos regresamos para buscarla e irnos al parque.

We went to do some shopping and when we arrived at the place they had just closed, so we decided to take Susy Amor to the park, we went back to pick her up and go to the park.

El parque siempre la vuelve loquita por tantos olores, se puede quedar minutos y minutos en un solo lugar olfateando, además Susy aunque no lo crean es muy popular, siempre que vamos al parque los perritos se acercan desesperadamente a ella para olerla y buscando juego, ella los deja pero si se le acercan varios a la vez se siente un poco abrumada y comienza a caminar rápidamente.

The park always makes her crazy for so many smells, she can stay minutes and minutes in one place sniffing, besides Susy, believe it or not is very popular, whenever we go to the park the dogs come desperately to her to smell her and looking for play, she leaves them but if she is approached by several at once she feels a little overwhelmed and starts to walk quickly.

Luego de terminar el paseo decidimos entrar en un restaurant que queda ahí mismo en el parque, nos tomamos una cerveza y comimos una pizza, después de eso nos regresamos a casa.

After finishing the walk we decided to go to a restaurant right there in the park, we had a beer and a pizza, after that we went back home.

Una vez en casa tomamos un baño rápido y nos colocamos a ver videos en youtube en pijama😊, pese a que era fin de semana nos dormimos temprano.

Once home we took a quick bath and started watching videos on youtube in our pajamas😊, even though it was the weekend we went to sleep early.

Domingo, de nuevo desperté a las 6:30am para que Kara entrara a comer y sacar a Susy a orinar pero estaba lloviendo demasiado, la neblina tocaba el suelo y Susy no quiso salir a mojarse, por lo contrario tiraba de su correa hacia el lado del apartamento, ella solo quería estar acurrucadita en casa.

Sunday, again I woke up at 6:30am for Kara to come in to eat and take Susy out to pee but it was raining too much, the mist was touching the ground and Susy didn't want to go out to get wet, on the contrary she was pulling her leash to the side of the apartment, she just wanted to be snuggled up at home.

Dormimos hasta las 10am y me levanté a hacer desayuno, desayuno de campeones, hice arepas y de relleno caraotas y carne mechada (las cuales quedaron del dial anterior).

We slept until 10am and I got up to make breakfast, breakfast of champions, I made arepas and stuffed them with caraotas and carne mechada (which were left over from the previous day).

Por ser un día lluvioso no provocaba nada más que estar acostada y ver tv así que ese fue el plan, vimos Cruella y debo decir que me encantó, la actuación de Emma Stone le da un toque plus a la película y no fue cruel con los perritos como lo fue en la película animada.

Since it was a rainy day it didn't provoke anything else but lying down and watching tv so that was the plan, we watched Cruella and I must say I loved it, Emma Stone's performance gives a plus touch to the movie and she wasn't cruel to the puppies as she was in the animated movie.

Preparé rápidamente un arroz con pollo que no es por nada pero me quedó riquísimo (este fin de semana de verdad que me lucí con la comida, 5 estrellitas para mí😎.

I quickly prepared a rice with chicken that was delicious (this weekend I really did a great job with the food, 5 stars for me😎.

Maratoneamos Lucifer hasta las 11:30pm y luego a dormir de nuevo 🥰 un excelente domingo lleno de mucha pereza y un merecido descanso, preparándome así para la rutina de la semana nuevamente.

*We marathoned Lucifer until 11:30pm and then to sleep again 🥰 an excellent Sunday filled with lots of laziness and a well-deserved rest, thus preparing me for the week's routine again. *
