Highlight of my weekend: A visit to my Dad

I'm grateful to God for making me to be a member and the eldest amongst my siblings in this wonderful family.

Dad is a pastor, and a man of God, he usually don't stay with us over here in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria because of his nature of work.

He's usually transferred to a new station every 4 years, me, my Mom and 4 of my siblings couldn't follow him around to those places and so we decided to rent an apartment and stay in Uyo while he stays at the station which he was posted to.

So we decided to pay him a visit and spend some time with him before we leave for school. We left and we arrived safely. Dad was so happy to see us.

Immediately, mom and I entered the kitchen and prepared dad's favorite soup, vegetable soup.

My siblings and dad went out to play football, from inside the kitchen I heard how they were laughing and shouting. I was intrigued and when I finished what mom asked me to do, I went out and joined them, it was fun🤗.

I was surprised at the way dad dribbled the ball and scored many goals even at his old age.

I was just there running around with the ball without scoring any goal. I didn't care about that, I enjoyed myself.

Mom called us to come over to the dinning that food was ready, we ate mom's delicious food and we were satisfied. We took our bath and took a stroll around the streets.
