Holding out on the weekend. / Resistiendo en el fin de semana. 😅❤

Although I love the summer and the heat, I must admit that this weekend I did not have a good time. Here in Buenos Aires the temperatures already exceed 95 F almost every day: on another occasion I would take the opportunity to enjoy a swimming pool but at this moment in my life I have to remain captive and melting in the hospital 😅. Overall, I'm fine, but recovery is slow, so I'm still not in a condition to be out.

However, after almost 20 days here I try to keep my good mood ❤.

Aunque me encanta el verano y el calor, debo admitir que este fin de semana no lo pasé muy bien. Aquí en Buenos Aires las temperaturas ya superan los 35°C casi todos los días: en otra ocasión aprovecharía para disfrutar el día en una pileta pero en este momento de mi vida tengo que quedarme cautiva y derretida en el hospital 😅. En general, estoy bien, pero la recuperación es lenta, por lo que todavía no estoy en condiciones de tener el alta.

Sin embargo, después de casi 20 días aquí trato de mantener mi buen humor ❤.

I'm already running out of entertainment options 😅. I've already finished the book I brought to read here, so I'll have to get another one. I have some in PDF format, but I enjoy reading physical books more. I suppose my sister will have to come here tomorrow to supply me with good readings.

Ya se me estan terminando las opciones de entretenimiento 😅. Ya terminé el libro que traje para leer aquí, así que tendré que conseguir otro. Tengo algunos en formato PDF, pero disfruto más la lectura en libros físicos. Supongo que mañana mi hermana tendrá que venir hasta aquí a abastecerme de buenas lecturas.

Meanwhile I also occupy my time embroidering a little. Tomorrow is another Needlework Monday and I have not finished my project yet but I will surely do it in the course of the day 😅❤. Mientras tanto también ocupo mi tiempo bordando un poco. Mañana es otro Lunes de Trabajo de Agujas y aún no terminé mi proyecto pero seguramente lo haga en el trascurso del día 😅❤. Finally, I want to tell you about something that happened today. This morning I was feeling really bad, in a lot of pain, so much so that I couldn't get out of bed. At that moment, a boy who saw me in those conditions came in and said "you should put a glass of water under your bed, it will do you good." I was surprised but when he left I did. After a moment, I really felt better and was even able to get up for breakfast 😅. Maybe it was the placebo effect or that glass really made me feel better. In these cases it is believe or burst and I choose to believe that it really worked 😂. (Another issue is that the glass attracted several thirsty ants but I think that had nothing to do with the spell).

Por último, quiero contarles algo que pasó hoy. Esta mañana me sentía realmente mal, con mucho dolor, tanto que no podía levantarme de la cama. En ese momento, entra un chico que me vio en esas condiciones y me dice "deberías colocar un vaso de agua debajo de tu cama, te va a hacer bien". Yo me quedé sorprendida pero cuando se fue lo hice. Al cabo de un momento, de verdad me sentí mejor y hasta pude levantarme a desayunar 😅. Quizás fue el efecto placebo o ese vaso realmente me hizo sentir mejor. En estos casos es creer o reventar y yo elijo creer que de verdad funcionó 😂. (Otro asunto es que el vaso atrajo varias hormigas sedientas pero creo que eso no tuvo nada que ver con el hechizo).
