Weekend With Loads Of Work

Weekend starts from Friday and going by my weekend activities, it was so great.

In my school, we have started exams and the students started with practicals. On, Friday, the students did physics practicals. They were given just one question which was related to prism. I gave them work of optical instruments which they did carryout the practical to their satisfactions.

Before now, I have told them and taught them the practical which they did understand.

Procedures for the practicals I gave to them were so much simple.
I gave them:

• A4 paper (plain sheet of paper),
• drawing board
• four optical pins
• a rectangular prism

The students used three labs and so, I was moving from one lab to the other to ensure accurate results.

For the senior secondary school 1, I have them electricity which they did attended as well. The senior secondary school 2 did theirs in the morning while the senior secondary school 1 did theirs in the afternoon.

They did electrical connections to prove ohm's law of electricity. So, I gave them variable resistors, connecting wires, key, voltmeter, and dry cells(1.5v*2).

This morning, I began my markings. I marked about 100 scripts on physics. Marking is not easy but one needs to mark to assess the students. I left some behind as I was tired of marking, but will go back to it later or tomorrow.

I'm not the lazy type and so, this Saturday, I'm out for teaching. There is a student I'm taking home lesson. It's nice teaching most especially when you are teaching calculative subjects.

We did revision on almost all the topics we have done in the class today. He has further mathematics on Monday and so needed to be brushed up, although, he is not a dull type but the one who can give you results.

Teaching job is not easy but one needs to partake in it since it is my passion.
