ON THIS DAY - DAVID POMERANZ | OUR WEDDING SONG
Hi everyone!
It's me again sharing a song from David Pomeranz a song entitled On this Day. Did you know? I'm sure your answer is NO. Okay here we go, you know what, before I got married I really like the lyric of the song but I don't feel singing it. I don't know why maybe because I don't feel the genre.
Well, I am not a pro into singing I'm just one of the typical Filipinos who loves to sing in the bathroom, in the place where no one is around or in a street where your listeners are those waving leaves and brunches of the trees and those tall grasses.
When I and my ex-girlfriend decided and get married she asked me to sing a song during our wedding. I was about to refuse but I am afraid she'll cancel the scheduled wedding. Oh my God! we already spent money for the preparation, so I agree but in a condition that I am going to choose for a song and I picked up a song of axl rose Sweet Child O' Mine.
She was so upset and said that I go alone on the wedding day lol. Of course I was just joking at that time, but it was a real freak'n wrong timing because it was 6 in the morning and she just woke up from bed. The saying is right "Magbiro kana sa lasing wag lang sa Bagong Gising".
Okay we'll make the story short, when she cools down she asked me to sing this song and I was just "what!" lol. She got angry again so I said, I mean do you love it too? 'coz I love it haha. And that was the time I started to practice singing "on this day" so I can sing it on our big day as she requested.
And that was the story behind "on this day" to our wedding day with my ex-girlfriend and now my wife. So even if I don't rendered it nice and perfectly, I sang it with all my heart, it has a huge part to our married.
