Saludos estimados amigos de #planetauto!!, Hoy quisiera comentarles hacerca del carro de mis sueños, este es un carro que a pesar de ser un nuevo modelo, representa para mi mucha historia y se las voy a relatar en el siguiente párrafo.

El vehículo de mis sueños es la jeep Grand Wagoneer 2021, Este es un modelo que representa el regreso del nombre Wagoneer a la marca Jeep que es un emblema puesto que se trata del primer SUV de lujo en la historia de los vehículos, esta marca o nombre comienza su vida en el año 1963 cuando lanzado por la jeep cuando la marca pertenecía a la extinta compañía Kaiser, la cal necesitaba un sustituto a la Antigua Willy Wagon que era la primera camioneta 4x4 que podía albergar 5 pasajeros y algo de carga resguardados en su interior, pero básicamente era un jeep Willys con algo de más espacio por lo que no tenía ningún tipo de lujo en su interior, era una camioneta bastante básica.

The vehicle of my dreams is the Jeep Grand Wagoneer 2021, this is a model that represents the return of the name Wagoneer to the Jeep brand which is an emblem since it is the first luxury SUV in the history of vehicles, this brand or name begins its life in 1963 when launched by Jeep when the brand belonged to the extinct company Kaiser, the lime needed a replacement to the Old Willy Wagon which was the first 4x4 pickup truck that could accommodate 5 passengers and some cargo sheltered inside, but basically it was a Willys jeep with some more space so it did not have any luxury inside, it was a pretty basic truck.

Entre las principales innovaciones que aquella camioneta trajo destaca ser el primer 4x4 con transmisión automática, para los años iniciales de la camioneta el motor era un 232 con la overhead siendo uno de los primeros vehículos con esta innovación, pero desde luego era una camioneta muy pesada y con la transmisión automática se hizo necesario un cambio de motor,por lo que en el año 1967 se introdujo la opción de un motor Buick de 8 en V con 350 pulgadas cubicas que le proporcionaba mejor torque y caballos de fuerza a esta camioneta, en ese mismo año se introduce la versión SuperWagoneer que empleaba mejoras como una moderna consola central, mejor ubicación de las ventanas del aire acondicionado, vidrios y seguros eléctricos, entre otros lujos para los años 60 que convirtió definitivamente el modelo en las abuelas de las SUV modernas.

En los años 70 la compañía Kaiser fue adquirida por la American Motors que introdujo los motors v8 de 360 pulgadas cubica, y un 258 de 6 cilindros en línea para la wagoneer, en el año 1980 aparece la Wagoneer limited como modelo de lujo de la marca que obtuvo el famoso vinilo de madera que es reconocido como parte de la identidad de la camioneta.

In the 70's the Kaiser company was acquired by American Motors, which introduced the 360 cubic inch v8 engines, and a 258 6-cylinder in line for the Wagoneer. In 1980 the Wagoneer Limited appeared as the luxury model of the brand, which obtained the famous wood vinyl that is recognized as part of the identity of the truck.

En 1984 la Chrysler corporation adquiere a la Jeep y realiza nuevos cambios se introduce la nueva plataforma XJ de donde sale el modelo wagoneer y Cherokee y se mantiene la plataforma SJ con el nuevo y definitivo nombre Gran Wagoneer, esta ya tiene niveles de lujo que todavía sus competidores no habían podido igualar, a pesarde tener en su misma categoría a marcas como la Toyota Land cruiser, y el Range Rover, podía colocarse de tu a tu con ellas a pesar de ser una carrocería que comenzó su desarrollo dos décadas antes.

La primera Grand Wagoneer incluía vidrios y seguros eléctricos, limpiaparabrisas trasero, sunroof o consola de techo, piloto automático, un sistema de 4x4 llamado selectrac que era muy sencillo para su implementación sin salir del asiento del conductor, asientos de cuero sintético con apoya cabeza, un equipo de sonido marca muy bueno. Su manejo era suave, un radio de giro muy pero muy bueno, y el motor v8 que quedó como estándar para este modelo era suave y respondía bien cuando se le ofrecía. En lo particular mi primera camioneta era una jeep Wagoneer del año1982 con motor 258 de 6cilindros a la cual me unía el hecho de ser heredada por mi padre, en la cual pude muchas de las excelentes características dela la plataforma SJ.

The first Grand Wagoneer included power windows and locks, rear windshield wipers, sunroof or roof console, autopilot, a 4x4 system called selectrac that was very easy to implement without leaving the driver's seat, leatherette seats with headrests, a very good sound system. Its handling was smooth, a very very good turning radius, and the v8 engine that was standard for this model was smooth and responsive when offered. In particular, my first truck was an 1982 Jeep Wagoneer with a 6-cylinder 258 engine, which I inherited from my father, in which I was able to experience many of the excellent features of the SJ platform.

La marca Gran Wagoneer vio la luz hasta el año 1992 cuando apareció la nueva plataforma ( o modelo de carrocería) ZJ que compartía con la jeep Grand Cherokee, pero manteniendo su lujo en forma de los vinilos de madera en la parte exterior y ciertos aditamentos en el interior que la verdad no la diferenciaban mucho de la Grand Cherokee en lo que parecía que simplemente era una Grand Cherokee con papel madera, el cual no estaba ya muy de moda o acorde con la nueva carrocería, este modelo ofrecía un motor full injection de 5.2litros V8 y no tuvo mucho éxito desapareciendo y dejando a la Grand Cherokee como el modelo de lujo de la Jeep.

Desde ese tiempo han pasa o casi 30 años desde que una nueva Grand Wagoneer llegaba al mercado por lo que el anuncio en agosto pasado del lanzamiento del nuevo modelo 2021nos llegó como un bálsamo a los entusiastas del nuevo modelo, que trae elementos realmente de lujo, como una gran cantidad de pantallas led hasta 7 delas cuales 6 son táctilesen las cuales se pueden realizar muchas de las funciones el vehículo, luces continuas en la parrilla, rines de lujo, un techo muy lujoso, un sistema de audio de 24 parlantes!! motores de última generación, es un auto espacioso con mucho confort y espacio para 7 personas, sobre todo en los 4 asientos delanteros, que tienen un gran confort y espacio gran capacidad de carga y que además trae un nombre con mucha historia en el mundo automotriz, el asunto es que su precio que oscila entre los 60000 dólares y los 90000 dólares es impagable para una persona con in salario en Venezuela, además de que es muy poco probable que el modelo si quiera llegue al país.

Las del modelo clasico SJ se pueden encontrar en mi país algunas muy cuidadas en un precio no tan alto, (aunque muy por encima de los 1000$) en países desarrollados elmodelo SJ de la Grand es un modelo clasico que se encuentra al ser restaurado a condicion original por encima de los 25000 dólares.
