The work debate

Recently, my mobile browser has been constantly sending me ads on job vacancies and recruitments close to me. I have no idea who told them I'm unemployed but damn, they need to chill.

I hardly get to look at the offers, I just know I'm not interested in any of them. I've never sent out my CV or Resume for a job and I don't think I'll be doing that anytime soon.

One thing I've noticed about these job ads is the similar energy the recruiters require. Although I don't read them, I get a glimpse just before it gets off my screen. What comes to my mind is SLAVERY.

I've rejected a number of job offers recently. This is simply because I have my conditions for work. I have become entitled to my space and time.

As absurd as it sounds, I get offered a job and my first question is 'do I get to work at my own time and pace?' The answer is always no, so I decline the offer.

Thanks to my writing activities, I've come to understand what I really desire in a work/life experience. I know how I work and why I require a flexible job to function properly.

The moment I get tired of a work environment, the next thing on my mind is quitting.

The only reason I was able to work at a radio station for 2 years was because of the flexibility of my job. I was only required to come in 30 minutes before my shows. And once a week when we had meetings.

The flexibility of work has to be my first criteria for working. I can work under pressure, however, I prefer being the person placing myself under pressure. This means not taking a deadline seriously enough.

I have had the work experience and I can comfortably say it doesn't suit me. I don't know how I'll cope in a situation where I leave the country and I'll be forced to take up some jobs to make ends meet in my first few years of arrival.

This thought sometimes bothers me but I comfort myself by imagining that a work environment in a different continent will be better than what I have experienced in my country.

Well, until I get to that point, I'll remain unemployed and search for ways to block the recruitment ads from bugging me all the time. I legit thought there was no jobs in the country in the first place.

We are changing the nature of work. Cryptocurrency is providing huge opportunities.

Once we get a taste of this, the idea of working for a living makes no sense.

That's a nice one there, shows what we are doing here is going in the right direction. I have also been thinking a lot about this lately after my graduation and everything, I would like to have a job that suites my lifestyle and time frame to not be under pressure of bossy employer or tight schdule.

I don't think l'll be comfortable getting a job that would make me stay off hive for too long.

Am sure with time you'll find a nice job that will suite your taste.

You're getting ads because you have a data leak somewhere. Best thing to do, IMO, is to amp up your security habits. Use VPN, Tor, change your passwords once biweekly/monthly..., cover that camera, take off the microphone (use headphones with mic instead), get off Fedbook, twatter, reddit, etc

Someone out there got your stuff and sold it and now those that bought the info want you. so they send you ads because they know that attracts customers.
