Introduction

In a previous post titled Crypto Gems 02, I go over Custodial vs Non-Custodial wallets and how giving custody of your cryptocurrencies to companies defeats the purpose of ownership for decentralised digital assets. I cover a protocol that's made up of a revolutionary compliance layer with exceptional on ram and off ramp solutions for decentralised finance.

Here i'm going to share some intimate thoughts.

One of those Days

If I could stop time...

Today was one of those days where I write, backspace, write, repeat and wonder whether what I will record on the blockchain will be worthwhile for my future self to go back and read. Will it be an important enough thought I will have had in 2022?

After all it wont matter here on this blockchain after seven days and becomes meaningless for an eternity as soon as I hit the publish button.

Well, I don't really have an eraser for what I say once I said it either? I can spend hours meditating on what I could say or do. Like when you freeze an image and start walking around the room, looking if there's something under the table or the facial expression of the guy in front of you, wondering what he just might be thinking? When everything stands still, wouldn't it be great if you could rearrange something?

I can edit my words and rewrite my sentences to suit my current understanding. What would be far greater is to find out what lies beyond...

I guess there's always something to uncover when you have time, long enough to think about it?

What if I would face myself or a similar character...?

I feel very fucking lonely in 2022, like someone dropped me into this age with an extra-dimensional machine. It feels like some retro age, brick shoe wearing, savage society enslaved by corporations, ran by a subjective monetary system selling corpses in chain house stores to their almost cannibalistic subjects. They call them cogs in a machine, but it seems to be more reminiscent of live stock, here to lay eggs. Exchange what they define as this time for a value that's the same for everyone. It evidently does make a lot of sense for them not to bite the hand that feeds them?

Their idea of freedom becomes distorted in the midst of their barn life. What about that life beyond being a free range chicken?

Care to jump the fence with me?

I don't seem to share that value with most, except for some of you here, who realise that it's scarce. Resources are finite as well. It's inevitably designed to serve the ones who come first or discover real value because they can perceive it. To me that means morality that lies far ahead of what most of us can fathom.

They used to use immolation to exterminate geniuses and now they still ridicule and censor them to indoctrinate their narrative.

I am talking about Love, Freedom, Liberty and a future where humanity is free.

This post isn't about the discrepancies of our time, but about the chance we have to change it.

Responsible Actors

Many of us here might not realise the presiding responsibility, since we gave that away to governments and corporations in 1944 and even more in 1971.

Why would anyone question the world they were born in, if they don't know the antithesis or another alternative beyond volition? We always let Banks handle our value and have corporations dictate the way we consume voluntarily.

I am certain they'd like to prevent the upcoming autonomy and that they will be doing a lot to try to accomplish this.

Do we really have what it takes to handle our keys, do it ourselves and be a part of the decision making processes in future DAO's?

Most won't and most will not get it at first. They will choose not to own their keys.

Many here, who are new to blockchain might still be caught up in the older models of thinking. They might believe that we need a government and their system of management and control. They'd like to believe that such a world would end up in chaos and dishevelment. At the same time they might end up blaming everything on capitalism, instead of looking at the broader image of a corporate oligarchy with their global fiscal politics.

The truth is, that the erosion of the value of money will sooner or later result in a climax of perennial inflation, whereby an increase in interest rates might send people looking for safe haven assets that wont depreciate over time. We might just be at a point in time where the first free market on a global scale is within reach.

NFT Hype

Not a Bubble, just the beginning...

To be honest, I don't mind the NFT hype on Opensea and all these amazing instagram artists who found their way to blockchain through it in the past two years. Specially the ones who were rather skeptics than agnostics. I just think that sometimes the space does get the better of many who look like cartoons with those fiscal dollars in their eyes. It gets specially cool when they all think they know everything about crypto but don't even have their own keys.

Originality and real value will always find it's way to lurk in the shadows of blockchains, waiting to reach their own catallactics.

I don't know what will happen if I'd yell the word private property and ownership out into the blockchain, writing about sovereignty in the same sentence. Why else would I be here to write all this, if I wouldn't be all about "Sharing is caring" ?

This satisfies the tin foil hat wearing opposition to fall into the pattern of trusting the the same dictators disguised as the new tyrants. Excuse me, I meant to say saviours for the victims and drama queens.

Conclusions

The change is inherently positive. We have already crossed a tipping point towards our freedom and a crossover into a world of abundance is inevitable. Cryptocurrency, data privacy and sovereign ownership of decentralised digital assets is here to stay. In a trustless system, a new humanity with high morale will rise out of one where every individual is a dubious outlaw or a potential terrorist. These centrally planned laws and regulations currently enforce coercive measures collectively, that vulgarises individuals into potentially malicious actors.

Imagine a world in where police officers don't need guns to enforce laws. Because no one is violent. You wouldn't need to use violent force, because violence doesn't exist in the first place. The query that humans are inherently corrupt is more prone by the current system, that has these conjectures.

The apparent difference between various future centralised credit systems(Social credits) and things like https://ceramic.network/ and SSID will become apparent once various blockchains interconnect across web3 protocols.

Either you'll have your private keys or you wont.

Nevertheless I feel like this is a dream and I might not care if I die here, because I won't take anything with me. Similarly, when I dream, I don't take anything back from there.

What if you remembered who you actually are in your dream and woke up? That prudent astral self, lost in this world. Maybe a quantum superposition of yourself in all parallel universes merged into one. It feels like you're born a hundred years too early, yet you feel and think you know something you can't remember too clearly. Like an intuition, it unexpectedly and suddenly unfolds in long Déjà vus...
