After multiple attempts contacting Monoprice I got absolutely no response and finally gave up.

Maybe due to the global pandemic Monoprice is having problems. I don't know. All I really know for certain is that I couldn't call them and none of my nine e-mails to them over a three week period got a reply.

This speaks for itself. They have terrible customer service.
Or rather they do not have a customer service.

This means that if you have problems with their products, then you are in trouble, because you are on your own. They do not help.

Because of this, people should not buy products from Monoprice in my opinion.
