New job...Meh 😑
Started my new job today and God I hate my life. I used to hate my old one, it paid about 500 euro a month but it was super easy and left me plenty of time for side gigs.
New one pays double that but working hours are from 830 to 430 plus two hours for commute. Lol. Can't imagine staying there for more than a couple of months. I think chinese people have something like 6 hours of commute on average. Fucking losers. I would probably kill myself in their shoes 😂
Oh well. Just a bit more patience I guess and I will finally be free. Like all those assholes that bought and hodled crypto before me. Soon I will be the asshole drinking mojitos in the bahamas!
Hopefully life won't be a bitch and give me cancer or something when my moon bags finally take off XD
Till then I guess I'll keep hating my life!
In other news, it looks like khal is working hard for my early retirement!

Man, that sucks. I hear you about hating a job. Not the one I am in now, but I worked at K-Mart for about a month when I was first out of high school and it totally sucked! It was about the worst month of my life! Things are definitely starting to heat up a bit!

I hate commute! I hate it! Thanks to Covid, my commute is 12 seconds, from the bedroom to the living room/office as I'm lazy as fuck. But it will change and I will have 1 and half hours daily back and forth which is the time to cross my village.

obviously commutes are a major waste of life, sorry to hear of this. With my last job i lived 10km away but being in a major city it took 45 min each way. Over 6 years working there I lost a total of 105 days worth of time,..

I feel this so hard. I also recently changed jobs and thought that a different job would take me further. It has also brought me further. Now I know very clearly that these "jobs" are simply not for me - the type doesn't matter.
I deliberately asked myself where the least motivated and slowest working people work. Since I didn't want to miss out on the money, I am now working as a consultant in IT security for a German government agency.
Previously I was active in marketing on a management level and save comparatively more than 20 hours a week. It's an improvemen, but for me it's all or nothing.

I work at home, but I felt I would never be off work because of it. Being an IT, other staffs just call you whenever they felt like it, and expect you to Zoom/Teams/WebEx in their computers or log in data centers and fix their problems.
