Boredom Conjectures about USDT Dominance

Observing the dominance of some of the Major Crypto in the market. I have realized something curious at least for me.
The dominance of TETHER has followed a constant upward trend in an expansive way since its creation, or at least since tradingview has data.
As you can see, TETHER's dominance "travels" between two non-parallel lines between which it fluctuates.
For example, at the beginning of 2019 the dominance of USDT fluctuated between 0.8 and 2%, then towards the middle of 2020, it fluctuated between 1.6 and 4.7% and at present it is between 2.2 and 5.2%.

As you can see, the lower sloping line represents a floor and the upper one a ceiling, both growing but with different slope constant.
The curious thing about the case is that it seems to me that we can relate the lower sloping line as well as the beginning of an upward cycle, whether of greater or lesser importance, if we compare it with the Total Market Cap.

Almost every time dominance touches that line on the weekly chart, the total market cap begins to rise a few days later...
I do not know why this relationship is due... maybe it is pure chance and simply what we lack is more historical data to corroborate the "theory", however I think I can draw a especulative conclusion.
We touched that line a few weeks ago, now the TETHER dominance is rising. However, TETHER is also testing an horizontal resistance at 3.5% dominance so, there could be a rejection downwards injected some "FUEL" on the Market soon.

USDT does not seem to go so easily to FIAT, it seems that USDT is used more and more to obtain interest from its staking, farming etc... with which, as a consequence, the Total market cap is also less likely to empty as it did in the past... or so it seems at the moment.

I already tell you that perhaps this is just conjecture that comes to me due to the boring state of the market in which we have been for a few weeks now.
