Hello everyone! In my learning about economics and finance, I was reading about the qualities of a successful entrepreneur and needless to say,here at #hive, we are all entrepreneurs. In fact I dare to say, we are entrepreneurs of life, everything we do, we do it with an intention, so starting from that premise, I want to tell you what I have discovered about these qualities so important for everyone.

Entrepreneurs are always looking for new opportunities, and if they find them, they do not hesitate in the slightest to develop that idea, look for the resources, the necessary equipment and execute the project. That is why I believe that the word entrepreneur is always linked to the words "risk" and "innovation".

The entrepreneur is a seeker, but must be innovative and see beyond the average to be able to detect opportunities. Besides being a person who takes risks, because every new project has the duality of being successful or not.

This leads us to understand that the entrepreneur must not only be a person with an excellent financial education and a broad knowledge of his business area, but also every entrepreneur must have certain innate or developed qualities, which allow him to achieve his goals, among which I consider the most important are:

Vision: Having the ability to see what others do not see. See beyond what is naturally visible and detect opportunities. Imagine visionaries like Steve Jobs or Bill Gates, they saw an opportunity, imagined the future and developed it.

Courage. This is a courageous person, with passion and decisiveness. This does not mean that he/she does not have fears. Our fears move us, they are a kind of engine. A person with courage, despite his fears and doubts, takes action and decides what is best for the business or venture. So from now on, when you have a fear, remember the word courage, because it is bravery despite all the fears that may be accompanying us.

Creativity: It is the ability to create, invent, innovate. Everything can be improved and it is precisely with creativity that we improve or create a new business. Never doubt the ideas, no matter how crazy they may seem, maybe they are the answer you are looking for.

Ability to resist criticism. You will always be criticized, whether you do it or not. There are always balloon-puncturing people, with the intention, whether good or bad, to criticize what you do. Please don't listen unless that person talking to you is a mentor to you. Otherwise ask yourself, has that person developed business, has he/she been creative, has he/she been innovative, does he/she like to create business; if the answers are negative, he/she is definitely a person you should not listen to. We are all criticized, so it is up to you if you are going to listen to them or not.

Aptitude for delaying gratification. It is difficult, we all want everything already, but many times it is better to wait for better benefits. The quality of patience and perseverance. Harvests do not happen overnight. It takes many hours of care, work, effort, to see the results. Just do not get discouraged and continue with your project.

An entrepreneur without these qualities, is a fish out of water, because he does not have the personal tools to develop his ideas and take them one level further, get people to follow him and succeed in his business.

Los emprendedores siempre están a la búsqueda de nuevas oportunidades, y si la encuentran no dudan en lo más mínimo en desarrollar esa idea, buscar los recursos, el equipo necesario y ejecutar el proyecto. Es por ello, que considero que la palabra emprendedor siempre va unida a las palabras “riesgo” e “Innovación”.

El emprendedor es un buscador, pero debe tener una innovación y ver más allá del promedio para poder detectar las oportunidades. Además de ser una persona que asume riesgos, pues todo nuevo proyecto tiene la dualidad de ser exitoso o no.

Lo que nos lleva a entender que el emprendedor no solamente debe ser una persona con una excelente educación financiera y un amplio conocimiento sobre su área de negocios, sino también todo emprendedor debe tener ciertas cualidades innatas o desarrolladas, que le permitan lograr sus objetivos, entre las que consideré más importantes están:

1.- Visión: Tener la capacidad de ver lo que los demás no ven. Ver más allá de lo naturalmente visible y detectar las oportunidades. Imagínate a visionarios como Steve Jobs o Bill Gates, ellos vieron una oportunidad, la imaginaron a futuro y la desarrollaron.

2.- Coraje. Se trata de una persona valiente, con pasión y capacidad de decisión. Eso no quiere decir que no tenga temores. Nuestros miedos nos mueven, son una especie de motor. Una persona con coraje, a pesar de sus temores y dudas toma acción y decide lo que es mejor para el negocio o el emprendimiento. Así que de ahora en adelante, cuando tengas un temor, recuerda la palabra coraje, pues es valentía a pesar de todos los miedos que nos puedan estar acompañando.

3.- Creatividad: Es la capacidad para crear, inventar, innovar. Todo es susceptible de ser mejorado y es precisamente con la creatividad como mejoramos o creamos un nuevo negocio. Nunca dudes de las ideas, por más descabelladas que puedan parecer, quizá sean la respuesta que tanto estás buscando.

4.- Capacidad para resistir la crítica. Siempre vas a ser criticado, tanto si lo haces como si no lo haces. Siempre hay personas pincha globos, con la intención, ya sea buena o mala, de criticar lo que haces. Por favor no escuches a menos que esa persona que te está hablando sea un mentor para ti. De lo contrario pregúntate, esa persona ha desarrollado negocios, ha sido creativo, ha sido innovador, le gusta crear negocios; si las respuestas son negativas, definitivamente es una persona a la que no debes escuchar. Todos somos criticados, así que de ti depende si vas a escucharlos o no.

5.- Aptitud para retrasar la gratificación. Es difícil, todos queremos todo para ya!, pero muchas veces es mejor esperar por mejores beneficios. La cualidad de la paciencia y perseverante. Las cosechas no se dan de la noche a la mañana. Se requiere de muchas horas de cuidado, trabajo, esfuerzo, para ver los resultados. Solo no te desanimes y continuar con tu proyecto.

Un emprendedor sin estas cualidades, es un pez fuera del agua, pues no tiene las herramientas personales para desarrollar sus ideas y llevarlas un nivel más allá, lograr que las personas lo sigan y tener éxito en su negocio.
