50,000 LEO, and my other my goals for 2021!

Keeping track of your financial goals should be up on top of everyones list of things to do at the beginning of every year!

This year has been so challenging for many people, it's hard to save for the future when you have debts from the past. I am one of the lucky ones that kept my job through all of this and prospered. I am very thankful for this and never forget how lucky I am!

So what have I accomplished this year?

Today is my one-year anniversary of the day I really quit smoking after ten or twenty tries and 35 years. This is saving me a lot of money I can use to invest.

I have stacked another 350 ounces of silver, most of it was around $16 to $17 dollars per ounce. Silver is now over $26 dollars per ounce. I also grabbed 3 ounces of gold and an ounce of platinum too.

My gold stocks came alive this year and make me look great on paper. My IRA has done well too, I switched most of it into a gold fund in 2018 and 2019 when gold was 1150 to 1200 per ounce, so it has done very well too.

My goals for the New Year!

This year I intend to buy some property in the mountains for a future retirement homestead. I will continue on my Hive and Leo journey with the goal of having 50,000 Leo by Dec 2021!

LEO Power (LP)
43,459.427 LP

I average 125 Leo per week with curation so I should get there without posting very much.

My other goals are to keep stacking gold, silver and fix up my house, to much time on hive and Leo has made me fall too far behind. I will reevaluate my stock portfolio to make sure I have another great year.

I know most here are wondering why I haven't mentioned other cryptos, I'm sorry, I may gamble with a small percentage of my speculative budget but I still think I would be a little naive to think the government will let me use them instead of their dollars.

( They will try to save the dollar!)

I invest in some of the crypto miners and that has worked out just as well without the risk you take holding Bitcoin.

100 thousand tokens would be something, I think they will be a lot harder to get in the future. I set my goal at 50 thousand to be reasonable to myself.

Wow, 43,459.427 LP is an excellent achievement, and I'm sure you'll get to 50,000 LP next year, even before December. And congrats on quitting smoking. I know how it feels, although I've never been a heavy smoker, just a very bad coffee addict up until two years ago.
See you in 2021! May that be the best year, although .... there will be challenges.

I missed smoking the most when I had my coffee, I cut down on my drinking, but coffee will be a challenge.

Well those are some decent targets to aim for and you are definitely the money bags these days. Holding onto jobs is crucial right now and why I have taken no payments from my business for nearly a whole year.
50 000 Leo sounds doable and hope you achieve more. I will look at y goals tonight and tomorrow as Leo is a tough one as at some point we will all be earning less on posts and curation. I think 50 000 is indeed a big number and actually worth way more than what we might all think. Those numbers would take years to achieve now and something you should be proud of.
Make sure the retirement pad has an extra bed as I will come gold panning with you.

I think this is the year that all of this learning about the whole Hive ecosystem pays off, your being a megasuperwhale in Sportstalk could be a gamechanger too, they are getting a little harder to earn now that they are more distributed. It's good that you still have a large Hive position too, I'm going to be jealous when the 3speak airdrop happens.

I really hope so as being a whale of something is pretty cool. We need to start seeing things pay off as the time spent on here now is insane. 3speak and Leo airdrops will be great and something to look forward to and will try and stake as much until then as possible. Maybe we can do a collaboration 3speak account for curation as I will have no vp at this rate.

Congrats on your accomplishments! That is pretty impressive. It sounds like you have done a really good job of setting yourself up for what the future holds. That is an awesome amount of LEO you have. I wish I was even close to that. I guess my goal of 5000 LP seems pretty silly now! :) Good luck with everything 2021 brings you!

Thanks, I think 5,000 is a huge goal. I lucked out and got in pretty cheap, when people have to work their but off posting it is a lot harder to earn. I just mean I would not reach that many without selling other cryptos that you probably Hodl.

Always good to have some goals to aim for in the new year! I hope you get there by the end of 2021! I'll start building a position with precious metals I think in 2021. Pretty happy with my crypto standings and reached my goals I set this year with them so yeah, here's to 2021!

Definitely something I'll be looking into. My metallurgist background is making it hard to see past the "it's just a bit of metal" but I know not everyone is a metallurgist so going to change my mindset on that haha!

Nice goals. I'm just getting back into Leo, sold my steem for it and converting it. I just created a curation account but it doesn't amount to much yet but the goal is to curate on Leofinance and help grow this thing. I would love to have a bigger chunck right now but it is what it is. I hate to buy in but that's where I'm at. Should have done it long ago. 2021 will be fun

Yes, this is so true, that's something that is hard to see during a bull run. It's a gut wrenching feeling when cryptos get smashed. I'm a gold and silver bug so I try to stick with that.

Gold bull run is not finished yet and we might see some crazy stuff with gold in 2021. I tried to get into physical/miners/streamers, waiting for the parabolic move :)

Cool target that one can dream off, 50k is massive, especially if we cross the 1$ value. It definitely can help for the retirement plan and buying the house in the mountains.

Man if we cross the dollar value my curation would be off the charts. My silver is mostly in Eagles, Maple leaf coins, and 10 to 100-ounce bars.
