DeFi is attracting big money. If you think about it, compared to the rates of return in the present system, we are seeing a way to get much better yield as compared to the couple percent (if lucky) the existing system offers.
So it is not surprising to see big money entering.

The rates offered by current system becomes a ridiculous joke if compared to DeFi, we are probably see Bitcoin a less threat to the banks than DeFi.
