Hive/Leo: Optimum Curation Strategies Help

I'm intrigued about potential curation APR on Hive, inspired in no small part by the recent posts from @preparedwombat on potential (relatively) passive returns from this amazing platform.

I have been actively trying to curate/vote on posts in recent weeks and, although I consider myself a bit of a "Hive/S-word veteran", I must confess that I am a bit out of the loop on the latest 'optimum curation strategies'.

As you can see, my current APR rate is running at around 6%. I have no idea if this is good or bad, so I would be interested in your views.

Here are my questions on latest curation tactics:

  1. Am I right in thinking that there is no optimum time to vote on Leofinance, unlike on Hive (other than the seven-day window)?
  2. I remember there being a preferred five-minute window on Hive for optimum voting with all sorts of added complications around timing – is this still the case?
  3. Does it make a difference on whether I vote on Leofinance.io or PeakD in terms of curation reward tokens for these respective platforms? Put another way, if I was vote at say 50% voting power on a post via Leofinance, would I get the same amount of Hive curation rewards as if I had placed exactly the same level of vote on PeakD instead? And vice versa?
  4. I remember that there used to be an auto-voter bot on the old 'S-word' platform - is there something similar for Hive? Not sure if I will go down this route as I'm quite enjoying the active manual curation – just intrigued.
  5. What haven't I asked about curation that I should've done?!

At the end of the day, I suppose none of this really matters as this system and platform is bloody brilliant as it is - I have been happy clicking around casting votes with zero strategy!

It is just useful to know the latest thinking...

Much appreciated.
