End of the Nation State - worth watching

Good analysis from Dominic Frisby on the end of the Nation State and worth watching.

Argument is that nation states are relativity new - most being less than 300 years old. Previously there were a handful of empires and most people were travellers - think of the rise of digital nomads today..

The argument is that nation states will need to recognise the importance and value of intangible assets as wealth generators and to attract them through attractive (aka low and simple) tax rates.

Smaller states will be more agile and therefore, capable of responding quickly to these changes. They will then attract more of the new digital wealth creators.

Think blockchain, crypto, software, NFTs and the list goes on - all intangible assets. This is where future value lies.

Small will be the new big.
