Finding ways to make extra money can be difficult.

With enough effort you can find ways to earn additional income whether you pick up a second job, a side hustle, creating passive streams of income or using your spare time to make money online.

I sure could use an extra $100 per day to improve my life. Even if you can not earn $100 extra per day every little bit would add up and cover additional expenses or savings.

1. Rent your car on Turo

Turo is an app that is like Airbnb of cars. When you list your car for rent on Turo people will pay you for daily usage instead of going with companies like Enterprise or Hertz.

If you could get the same rates as Enterprise an average car could rent for between $20 and $100 per day.

2. Be a transcriptionist

3. Join Airbnb as a host.

When you do not have the time or energy to go to the store, Instacart to the rescue. There are many openings in your area if you want to be the helper for those unable or unwilling to shop for groceries.

All you need to do is have a reliable car, be able to shop and sign up for Instacart. Pick up jobs with a flexible schedule and earn some nice extra cash.

5. Sell lightly used items to local thrift stores or on ebay.

Look in your local directory for thirft stores, go to ebay.com or check out this resource for online thrift store options https://iliketodabble.com/thrift-store-flipping-easiest-items-to-flip/. We all have goods around the house we are no longer using. If you find items you have not used in over a year think about trying to sell this items for extra cash.

This can also be a good part time side hustle. Going around town to estate sales and pick up interesting or low cost items that you know can be worth more to the right person.

What are your ideas to generate extra cash?

I have had an itch to start flipping car parts on Ebay. There are several good Pick your own Part junkyards near me. Based on the prices I saw on Ebay I can make nearly 5-7x what it would cost me to pick certain high volume auto parts.

Never heard of that. Those are some great margins.

I will have to look into my local junkyards. Thanks for the tip.

I quite like this way of thinking - I've been meaning to do a list of simple things I can do to earn say £10 a month - all you need to do is get to around 150 and assuming they're all tax free that's an average salary in the UK!

You spelt car wrong in the first heading btw.
