My 2020 Silver Coins, part 2

Hello Hivers and Stackers! Thanks for being here!

Stacking has become a way of life for me. I am not a stacker because I believe in doom and gloom (you know what I mean), although it may happen. It is my savings. Gold and silver have always been a store of wealth. And I save an ounce at a time.

Yesterday, I started to show my 2020 Silver Coins. It is rather long so I am breaking it into parts. This is the second part.

2020 1 oz Somalia Silver Elephant Coin (BU)

The latest design in the Somalia Silver Elephant Series features two African elephants on the savannah with the iconic Mount Kilimanjaro rising toward the horizon in the background field. 17th release of the Somalia Silver Elephant coins.

2020 1 oz South Korean Silver Phoenix (BU)

Known as the Bong Hwang in Korea, the phoenix has a deep history in Korean culture and is part of national symbolism for the modern Republic of Korea. 1st issue of the South Korean Silver Phoenix.

2020 1 oz Austrian Silver Philharmonic Coin (BU)

The Silver Philharmonic coin is the best-selling silver bullion coin on the European continent. 13th release of Austrian Silver Philharmonic coins.

2020 1 oz Australian Silver Lunar Mouse Coin (BU)

The Lunar Series collections from the Perth Mint includes Lunar I and Lunar II, depicting animals for the Lunar Calendar Year. 1st coin the new Lunar Series III collection.

I know many does that schedule posting thing and I have to admit it sounds like a Great idea 😉
Just that I never done it myself, I think of a post and do it right there on the spot... Usually I only know if its a silver post or Photograph post, then it comes to me as I start writing 😁 lol

Might be why most of my posts ends up longer than I planned 🙈

So I need to learn to schedule 💯

Combined with your post from yesterday, I didn't realize that there were so many different yearly silver coins. Are you aiming for one of each for a collection or are you stacking as much as you get?

The American Eagles in both gold and silver for the base of my stack.
I get one of each t a minimum although I tend to buy more, especially when they are priced less than an American Silver Eagle, such as the Krugerrands.

I love the Somalia elephant!
The designs are something to look forward to every year.
Once in a while, they go on sale (like in 2017), and when they do I get multiples.
For now, it is the Krugerrand.
The American Silver Eagles are unusually high in premiums!!!
I think it is because it is coveted this year and maybe toward the beginning of next year.

All very, very nice! the Philharmonic is a favorite of mine and I have a soft spot for rats as well. All have wonderful detailing and are nice to gaze upon. More importantly, though, they will provide you with a source of money should times require something other than the regular fiat currency to purchase. Although, it might be hard to part with one of these for sure! I know, I know.....that's why these are special and you have others for such an avenue if needed! Most definitely a regret is not in taking advice in the 1970's to collect, a work associate was a collector and strongly urged in me into that direction... Hindsight!

What I enjoy most on collectors coins is the art work depicted on each, properly sealed holding value a wonderful hobby to have @silversaver888 thanks for sharing.

Well, it's not too late to start! It is good to pass it on to the younger ones.
Even if it is just a few coins!
You are correct, it is enjoyable to collect art pieces, but at the same time these are price a few dollars (sometime below a dollar) over the spot price of silver.
