Silver Porn Saturday Numismatic Style....
Afternoon everyone.....
Well it’s just about noon where I am anyway.
I thought I’d throw a little twist to today’s #silverpornsaturday post. Today I am going to be showing off silver but it will be numismatic silver.
As most of you know, I started off as a coin collector. My entire collection was sold off nearly 30 years ago to prevent filing bankruptcy from a bad business venture with a partner who left me holding the bag.
Since I will never be able to replace my collection, baring a lottery win. I have changed to more of a hybrid collector/stacker.<br
Back when I was collecting 90% of what I had were high grade numismatic coins, I had a little bit of gold bars and some vintage silver bars and rounds.
So today I’m going old school and showing off some of my numismatic silver. Hope you enjoy....

Oh wow... three beautiful US Half Dollars. I really love the Walker. It is really wonderful to hold a piece of history in the form of graded silver coins. I am jelly... because the only graded coins I hold are Peace Dollars, and a few modern silver coins. Perhaps in the future...

A very nice selection of Silver Half Dollars, every great once in a while when I was a very young kid you would see a Franklin Half In circulation .....😊
All the good coins are gone now..🙃
I used to buy rolls of half dollars from the bank weekly. I can’t tell you how many Franklin and even Walking Liberty halves I pulled. Never pulled a Barber though.
The same here, I think my Dad was finding a few before my time, but Barbers seem to wear down the high points fast....
So hard. :P

I am a collector 100% at heart. But my funds don’t relate to my collecting style. So now I buy stuff I like that are within my means. If I happen to stumble on a deal or trade I’ll jump on it. But the coins I want are out of reach for me right now.
